You are My Princess

I saw the bracelet in my hand which Logan tied in my hand. I was puzzled at his approach and I tried to remove the bracelet. As I had no idea what is he thinking, so I planned to ask him about it by returning the bracelet to him. But when I touched it, the bracelet began to glow and I again started to see the same vision. A girl in a black dress standing inside the abandoned palace with the angry face. I don’t know what was the vision about and my mind was in more confusions why am I having weird visions. Am I daydreaming or did I go insane? I had no answers in my mind.  

After finishing my lunch, I walked on the corridors and searched Logan to return the band which he told me that it was for my protection. But something was off and it began after his arrival. I was sure that the questions in my mind can only be answered by him. So, I searched for him in the entire school at the resting period but he was nowhere to be seen. Soon, the bell rang and I went to the class and saw his place was empty. Later, I heard that he took a day off and went to his home. At that moment I knew that I should wait until next day to return his band. After the school, I walked to my home through the back gate of the school. As it was the shortcut way to my home.  

The next day at school, I saw him standing outside the class and I could sense that he had gotten few new friends around him. They were having fun together. I entered into the class and placed my bag in my seat. I took the band from my bag and went near him to return the band which he gave me. When I stepped out of the class, he came to me. I placed the band in his hand and turned back to get away from him. But he stopped me and placed the band again in my hand. I asked him, “Do you know me?” “Why are you giving this to me? What is your problem?” I yelled at him. But he didn’t care about anything, he just smiled and said “You are in danger. I need to protect you”.  

I asked him “who the hell are you to protect me? I don’t even know you and why should I believe you?”. But he told me that “Because you are my princess”. But I forced him to stop his bullshit and I returned to the classroom. Logan followed me to the class and placed the band in my desk and sat in his desk. He told me “Let's be friends, Lucy”. He showed a friendly gesture towards me and I also accepted his friendship. He then smiled at me and told me that he will tell everything at the right time until that time just keep it as a friendship gift. So, I had no choice to reject it and I accepted it with a little smile. His eyes were sparkling and his smile makes me hard to reject his approach towards me.  

He was my first friend in the school, I was happy for getting his friendship but I didn’t share it with him as I didn’t believe him. I had no expectations and knew that trusting a person will always bring pain. Thus, I cleared my mind not to get too attached with anyone. Getting attached is always getting the hopes high and then falling into the pit, later get hurt badly. And the saddest part is that no one will there be to help to get out of that pit. The lonely feel will also be added as more pain. 

At the end of the school, I packed my bags and tried to leave the classroom. Logan stood in my way and told me not to remove the band as it is the only way not to fall into the trap and not to get hurt. I asked him “What trap?” “What problem?” “What are you talking about?”. I filled him with my puzzled questions and he told me about saying it at the right time. Then he ran off with the smile and waving the hand by saying “Bye. See you tomorrow, Lucy”. I was more and more confused, but left every confusion in the school and began to walk towards my home through the shortcut, the back gate of the school. 

It was dark and the night have spread its wings all over the place which strikes the heart with its darkness. It's cold and the chilled feel assures like walking in the ice path. The trees all over my sight and a road with a turn I did not know where I was going, but my legs were walking in the road which was in front of me. I kept walking and the turning came to an end with a big gate and was locked and the roots of the trees has rolled out the lock. The spider web shows the years of the unopened gate which increased the fear inside me. I rolled out my eyes in the holes of the gate to see the other side of the gate.  

The dark abandoned palace on the other side just looked like a horror scary movie. I tried to saw the details of the palace and I saw the demonic statues in its entrance and the cross was hanging upside down. My intuition inside me told me to get away from the hellish place. But the more I see I sensed myself getting attracted by the palace. Further, I saw a girl in the black dress standing inside the palace and watching me. I saw her enchanting something while watching me.
