Avery P.O.V.
I heard Matthew yelling at me. When I go around the corner, I ran smack into a hard object, but that was when I heard the object groan. Huh, how can an object have groaned? I look up and I saw Elijah and Jake right beside him staring at me with a worried expression on their face. I sighed and let out a breath I guess I didn’t know I was holding, and I let out. I didn’t know what I did but I put my arms around them, and I started crying in their arms. I didn’t care I was hugging them, and I am glad it was them and not another person.
“Avery! Where have you been.’’ We have been looking everywhere for you.” I heard Jake say. “Yeah, sweetheart we wanted to make sure you’re okay and not hurt,” Elijah said to me. I didn’t mean it but I started crying and my body was shaking
