It's been a week since Mateo became a comatose patient and I'm slowly starting to lose the hope I had of him recovering sooner than expected.
The news about the shooting is all over the internet but whoever started the shooting at the casino hasn't been caught yet. Perhaps no one is even trying to catch them because the people of Las Vegas are convinced that Mateo and the dualistic family deserved what happened to them.
To protect Mateo from whoever is after his life and to avoid the journalists roaming around the hospital for information, he was brought to our house yesterday and medical personnels were assigned to him.
