Chapter 25The next two days passed slowly for Melissa as she busied herself with work and tried not to think about the impending dinner with her parents. She was so grateful for Kayla’s love and support, but if she allowed herself to think about explaining to her parents about breaking her engagement she felt nervous again. Of course, she could not tell them her biggest reason was her relationship with Kayla, but regardless of why she had done it, she knew they would be displeased.
