Jason held tight to Tiara when the eye wall started to waver and become unstable, actually thinning a bit. Another shadow demon started to slither up her arm over the first one.
“How do I kill it?” he asked and momentarily thought about taking her out of the tornado but decided against it in fear of it ripping her apart.
Tiara was breathing hard, feeling like she’d just run a marathon. She felt the shadow demons trying to invade her skin… to possess her, and if they possessed her Jason would be next. She wasn’t about to let that happen.
“Like this,” she exclaimed and thrust her other hand into the wall on the other side of the vortex. The darker necromancy rushed forward and she knew this was her father’s power. She’d learned a hard lesson from her last run in with shadow demons.
