The day finally came. The result day.
The whole school was buzzing with excitement.
Students were standing in groups, holding each other’s hands, praying quietly.
Some were nervous, some were confident.
“Board results will be published in 10 minutes,” the teacher announced through the mic.
Ayesha sat beside Rebeka, Soccho, and Anuvob.
Her heart was beating fast.
Just a few months ago she was sick, weak, and couldn't even hold a pen properly.
But today… today she was here, waiting for her GPA-5 result.
The clock ticked. 10…9…8…
And then the result was out.
“Top 4 students from our batch got GPA 5!”
The principal’s voice echoed.
And then the names.
“Anuvob, Rebeka, Soccho, and… Ayesha!”
For a second, silence.
And then… screams, claps, and tears.
Ayesha couldn’t believe it. She covered her mouth.
Rebeka jumped and hugged her so tight.
“We did it! We all did it!” Rebeka cried happily.
Soccho stood up slowly. His eyes were wet, but he was smiling in that calm, soft way he always did.
He walked to Ayesha and handed her a big shopping bag.
“Open it,” he whispered.
Inside was the most beautiful dress Ayesha had ever seen.
Deep ocean blue, with golden embroidery.
Matching bracelets, a ring, earrings, and even flowers.
Everyone around them was shocked.
“Bro, what’s all this?” Anuvob teased.
Soccho just smiled and looked away.
He didn’t want anyone to know that his heart had already started beating for Ayesha.
But he couldn’t hide it anymore.
Ayesha felt her cheeks burn. She didn’t know what to say.
But deep inside, she also realized something.
She liked Soccho. Not as a friend. More than that.
But she was too shy to say it out loud.
Later that evening, when everyone was leaving, Soccho called Ayesha aside.
From his pocket, he took out a small box.
Inside was a silver ankle bracelet.
“I bought this during our Tangor tour,” he said softly. “I don’t know why… I just wanted you to have it.”
Before Ayesha could answer, Rebeka and Anuvob came running.
“Wait wait! Let Soccho do it properly!” Rebeka said with a big grin.
And right there, in front of Rebeka and Anuvob, Soccho bent down and put the ankle bracelet on Ayesha’s feet.
Both Ayesha and Soccho turned red.
“Something is cooking here, right?” Anuvob said, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Shut up,” Soccho mumbled, but he was smiling.
That night, the group made a new plan.
“Let’s go on a tour. A big one. 7-8 days,” Anuvob suggested.
“Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, Sajek, Sylhet!”
Rebeka clapped. Everyone agreed.
Soccho looked at Ayesha.
“Bring the dress I gave you. The blue one. Wear it on the beach,” he said quietly.
Ayesha nodded, her heart skipping a beat.
Because Ayesha had just recovered, they decided to travel by train.
It would be faster and more comfortable for her.
Soccho made sure of everything. Tickets, food, hotel.
Finally, the day came.
First stop: Cox’s Bazar.
Evening time. After some snacks and rest, they went to see the sea.
The sound of the waves, the cool breeze… it felt like freedom.
They had dinner at a small restaurant and went to their rooms.
Ayesha and Rebeka shared one room.
Soccho and Anuvob took the one beside it.
Teachers and other students were on the other side.
Next morning at 8 AM, everyone woke up, had breakfast together, and ran to the sea.
They played in the water, threw sand at each other, laughed so loud.
Ayesha didn’t know how to swim, so Soccho stayed close to her the whole time.
“I got you,” he said whenever a big wave came.
Ayesha looked at him and smiled. She felt safe.
After swimming, they went back, changed, and had lunch.
That afternoon, Anuvob pulled Soccho aside.
“Bro… you like her, right? Propose to her. I think she likes you too.”
At the same time, Rebeka was talking to Ayesha.
“You like Soccho, don’t you? And he likes you. If he proposes, don’t say no. He’ll take care of you so well.”
Ayesha blushed. “Let him propose first,” she whispered.
Rebeka laughed. “I can see your heart is already full of excitement!”
In the evening, they all got ready.
Rebeka helped Ayesha wear the blue dress Soccho gifted her.
Matching bracelets, ring, earrings, flowers. She looked like a dream.
Rebeka wore a sky-blue dress.
Coincidentally, Anuvob also wore a sky-blue traditional shirt.
Soccho wore a navy-blue traditional shirt to match Ayesha.
He also kept a small diamond ring in his pocket.
At the beach, the sky was orange. The sun was setting. The waves were calm.
Ayesha looked breathtaking. Soccho couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Suddenly, Soccho got down on one knee.
He took out the ring.
“Ayesha… will you be mine?”
The world stopped for Ayesha.
Tears in her eyes, she nodded. “Yes.”
Anuvob and Rebeka screamed in happiness.
Soccho slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her hand gently.
“You’re so romantic, Soccho!” Rebeka teased.
Ayesha hid her face in embarrassment, but she was the happiest girl alive.
They bought some things, ate ice cream, and went back to the hotel.
That night, Ayesha and Soccho sat together, talking for hours. Holding hands.
Ayesha rested her head on Soccho’s shoulder.
In the other room, Anuvob was talking to Rebeka.
“Our friendship of four… what if it turns into something more?”
Rebeka understood. She had suspected it for a long time.
She stayed quiet, her heart racing.
Morning came.
After swimming again, they went to the hills.
Soccho and Ayesha walked side by side.
Anuvob and Rebeka walked together too.
As they walked, Soccho and Anuvob started singing:
“If this road never ends, how would it be, tell me…”
Ayesha and Rebeka joined:
“If this world was a land of dreams, how would it be, tell me…”
They reached the hills, had lunch, took pictures, made videos.
The uneven road made it hard for Ayesha to walk.
Without thinking, Soccho picked her up in his arms. Everyone teased.
Later, Rebeka slipped too.
Anuvob caught her and then carried her for a while because her foot hurt.
Rebeka got shy. “I can walk…”
“No. Let me,” Anuvob said softly.
And in that moment, something changed between them too.
Two days in Sajek. Clouds touching them. Peace. Laughter.
Then Bandarban. Then Sylhet for shopping.
7 days passed like 7 minutes.
On the train back home, no one wanted it to end.
Ayesha slept with her head on Soccho’s shoulder.
Without realizing, Rebeka also fell asleep with her head on Anuvob’s shoulder.
They reached home tired, but with hearts full of memories.
This tour didn’t just give them fun.
It gave Ayesha and Soccho love.
And maybe… it gave Rebeka and Anuvob a new beginning too.
To be continued…
