A few days passed, things were slowly organizing in Polymartius.

Our shark-man was named Navarchos of an "impressive" maritime fleet of: 4 small fishing boats and a light warship known by the name Liburnian.

What the Count claimed was that he had never seen anyone with such an affinity for the sea as Sarpi had.

Sarpi's disposition was also 50 young and 10 old sailors, ready to do whatever Sarpi ordered.

Sarpi's first order was that they go fishing, as the city-state was both without food and gold, and with the fish both issues would somehow be resolved.

On the first day they returned from fishing, the workers were surprised by the absurd amount of fish that were in the boats.

There were so many fish, it was about to sink the entire fleet.

What happened was that Sarpi realized that below where they fished there were some of his shark relatives. So without even needing to focus, he heard in his mind the sharks trying to make contact with him:

_Hey! You there looking here! Are you one of us? why does it smell like us?

Sarpi felt a strange flurry of feelings. Leaving what he felt aside, he replied:

_I am yes, I am Sarpi by the way, and who are you?

more sharks gathered below the school of fish.

Sarpi was wondering, he didn't remember his kind being so smart.

After a few moments of silence, a scarred white shark appeared, causing the other sharks to make way for it.

_We are the Daetus shoal. I am their boss. is that you?

Sarpi confused replied:

_I already said, I'm Sarpi.

_And why are you in the shape of animals with pink flesh? Where is your holy form?

_Holy form? Look, we can talk later, I need to take fish to my men, otherwise they will all starve to death. Sarpi replied, already feeling exasperated for having started the conversation with Daetus.

_Got it, you're busy now, it's fish you need? I'll help you, I hope it's enough. replied Chief Daetus, driving the fish to the surface along with the school of sharks.

The men in the boats didn't know whether to thank Poseidon, or to piss in fear. This was by far the most bizarre scene they had ever seen.
