TWO | The Shopping Trip

Michelle POV

When Jade and I got outside there was a black SUV parked in front of the packhouse waiting for us. Sadly, my parents wouldn’t allow me to leave the pack territory alone because my high rank makes me a target for our enemy packs, which are very few. Luckily the driver was my favorite warrior Jackson. When I saw this I giggled because Jade has always had a crush on him. She elbowed me as we were getting into the car and I laughed even harder. After an hour drive, we finally arrived at the mall and began going from store to store trying to find the perfect dress. My mother sent Jade with me because they swear I have horrible taste. I don’t agree. The first store was a large dress company and I thought it would make it easier, but every dress that I picked Jade hated, and every dress Jade picked I hated. This continued on for another 10 stores. I tried on a pink dress and Jade hated it. Then she made me try on a green dress and I hated it. When I finally looked at the time I realized it wad already 2 pm and we were both exhausted.  After 6 hours of me trying on dresses and going into different stores, I was ready to give up. Finally, Jade and I decided to go to the coffee shop on the other side of the mall, and on our way there we saw a beautiful dress on display in the window of a small store. It was a baby blue princess style dress with beads and diamonds covering the top half that trickled down to the bottom of the dress with a few diamonds placed on the fluffs. As soon as I tried the dress on it fit perfectly, and I knew it was the one when I showed Jade she loved it too! I used the credit card that my mother gave me and bought the dress. By the time we went and got coffee, it was 4 pm. Then we had Jackson take us out to a late lunch. We went to a seafood boil and enjoyed ourselves for the next hour. By the time we arrived home, it was almost 7 pm and we were so tired. My mother insisted on seeing the dress, so I tried it on, and when I walked out of my bedroom she and my father began to cry. I knew I was in for a hell of a night then. They both talked for hours about how they are so proud of me and they loved how I have turned into a beautiful young woman. By the time I went to sleep it was 11 pm and I was so tired that I fell into a deep sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I had a dream about me finding my mate and us living a happy life together. 

Jade POV 

Michelle was killing me. We were going shopping for her dress for her party tomorrow, and the day was already off to a bad start. When we got into the car to be taken to the city the driver was Jackson, a warrior who I have had a crush on since we were 6. Michelle started to giggle and I elbowed her in hopes of making her stop, but that only made her laugh harder. Then after an hour-long drive, we arrived at the mall, and all hell broke loose. We went to at least 10 different stores, but at this point, I have lost count. Every dress that I liked and thought was cute Michelle hated, and every dress she liked was hideous. I was losing hope. We then decided to go to a coffee shop in the mall, and on the way there we saw a beautiful baby blue dress that would compliment Michelle’s olive skin beautifully. To mu surprise, Michelle loved it too! When she tried it on, it fit perfectly and complimented her skin tone beautifully. She paid for the dress and we went and got coffee. Afterward, we were both starving and went to get food. By the time we arrived at the packhouse, it was 7 pm and I was so tired I went straight to bed.
