I skipped ahead in my mother's diary to find she had listed everyday of her life up until the day she listed as death. I stopped to read a few lines that caught my eye

Remus and I learned that we are a blessed pair today unfortunately while most people would see that as a good thing it only bred jealousy and animosity among his older brothers who continually searched for their mates. Remus and I were both born from alpha parents making us stronger and wiser than the average wolves our matching wolves a sign of a blessing from the moon goddess herself. Remus and I have powers. Powers to communicate to any wolf within our packs or not the ability also allows us to control the minds of weaker wolves making us dangerous in some people's eyes. I have the control over the element of water while Remus can control the earth element our powers complimenting each other through every step in our lives. The elders say that our first born will have our abilities and some we do not even possess. We were left with a word of warning that there are people in the world that will try to steal our child and take him away from us to gain territory and wealth. We must be careful.
