The Threats.

443 Words
I can't get over how much Sophia has changed since I first brought her here, she's like a different person, very outgoing, very friendly, bubbly everyone loves her. It's nice to see this side of her. My heart fills with pride seeing how far she's come. Her new friend has given her a major boost, I will forever be grateful to him for that, I admit I got a little jealous with how much they hung out, I thought he may be after Sophia for himself, Boy was I wrong. We hit a bit of a snag getting the little girl Sophia was adamant to save, but we are working on it. I'm hoping to bring the Luna ceremony up soon with her. We all need a good pick up after these few weeks. Although I have a niggly feeling that something isn't right, I guess it doesn't help with the mail I've been getting. "We are coming for you". "Keep an eye on your Luna" "You will be mine". I get these weekly, I have no idea who they are from, but I take them seriously, so I made sure to keep Sophia safe at all costs, I'm thankful she understands. I hate doing this to her, but it needs to be done, so out of careful consideration I have had to limit her going out, having fun etc. Knowing that someone could take her doesn't sit well with me. Everyone else understands and are on high alert, which I'm completely thankful for. They will protect their Luna I have a great team here, I've bumped up training to everyday while these threats keep coming. It hurts but it's what needs to be done. A week passes without anymore of those notes but it seems a little early to ease up yet, in my experience that's when they'll likely make their move. Of course it could just be someone playing a sick joke, that has also been thought about. *knock* Sophia comes in. "Sophia, you don't need to knock the door, just walk in". She nods. Something is bothering her. "What's wrong cupcake? Talk to me?" "I don't want to be under lock and key anymore, I've been deprived of that my whole life, I want to be free". Damn. This girl knows how to kick a guy in his feels!! I guess I never really thought of it that way, I pull her in close for a hug. "Fine, I get that & I admit I didn't think about that side of it, just your safety. But I need to know you're safe, so extra security for freedom? That's my offer".,
