Chapter 12

AALIYA POV- YEAR 202

Once a month, in the castle there is a gathering by royal ladies, and the wives of the kings in the palace, and now I’m here with the Empress at it. These ladies are chatting about others and boasting about themselves and their families. They are so boring to deal with and I’m fed up with this nonsense.

“It’s so boring, right sister-in-law? “

The one and only daughter of the Emperor and Empress, Princess Aliena inquires me. She’s so friendly and very loving like her mother. The Empress and the Princess Aliena are only one, I can bare here.

I shake my head indicating a ‘yes’ with a friendly smile.

“You are so beautiful and have a heart capturing smile. It’s not a surprise that my brother does not leave you alone expect while in his national duties.”

Her words make me laugh and all the ladies present, look at us curiously.

“Seems like our chatting has caused you to laugh. What’s the interesting part of it? If you share it with us, we also can laugh.”

Princess Sofia questioned us sarcastically.

Oh! She wants to challenge me? I’ll be the one that teach a lesson for this b***h.

“Who am I?”

I ask while directly looking at her eyes. Although a wave of fear flashes in her eyes for a moment, she succeeds in speaking nonchalantly again.

“You don’t know who you are? You are the witch that the crown prince was forced to marry because of a stupid oath.”

“Sofia”

While both the Empress, and Princess Alena shout angrily, I stand up and grab from Sofia’s neck. Then speak challenging while directly looking at her eyes.

“Care to repeat it?”

Her eyes are full of fear, and her mother, tries lose my grip on her. With my skills on martial arts, they are nothing to me. I push her mother to the ground.

“Don’t touch me. if you have taught your daughter to behave properly, I wouldn’t have to teach her proper manners.”

With my words, she turns towards the Empress.

“Sister-in -law, look how your precious daughter-in-law treating my daughter.”

Then she looks at me and asked,

“Do you know who I am?”

Before I answer her, the Empress speaks.

“I totally agree with her words and doings. She is the crown Princess of this nation who will be the Empress of the nation in the future. No one has power to discriminate her. If anyone dare to do so, he/ she should be punished.”

The Empress’ words make Sofia’s mother pale.

Giving a thankful glare to the Empress, I turn towards Sofia’s mother.

“For your kind information, I know who you are. You were banned from your husband’s kingdom, because of your great doings. Your life was saved only because you are the Emperor’s sister. Without no shame, you and your family is rudely treating everyone here expects the Emperor, Empress and the crown prince. Don’t you dare to bully or discriminate me ever. I’m very kind and loving to the people who deserve it, not for scheming bitches like you. If you guys an ever try to scheme against me or rudely behave with any person in this nation, you’ll see the worst of me. Trust me, it will be very good for you guys if you behave properly.”

My words make Sofia’s mother humiliated. I can see it clearly from her although she tries to hide it. And I’m very happy about it because it is what I wanted to do. Then I turn towards Sofia and loosen my grip around her neck. Then gives a tight slap on her neck which cause her to drop onto the floor and her mother ran towards her for support.

“Are you crazy? How dare you to treat my daughter like this?”

Her words make my lips up nonchalantly.

“How dare me? I’m the crown princess of this nation. You two know it clearly, right? I do not expect people to bend their heads when they see me. But, it’s the tradition of this nation, and I don’t want to challenge it. But’ I expect people to respect me with their hearts because of their love towards me. I’ll do anything within my capacity for the well-being of the nation. But, I’ll never forget anyone who tries to humiliate/ discriminate me because of their jealousy or the thirsty for power. This is your first chance, and definitely keep it in your mind that, there will be not a second chance because I’m not a person who forgives twice, and make the biggest mistake of the life.” 

Then I turn towards the other ladies and talk to them.

“I’m sorry that, you had to see this chaos. If you ladies don’t mind can please sit for a bit. I have a small idea to support the citizens with this existing economic crisis of the nation.”

With wide eyes, the ladies focus their attention towards the Empress. With her usual pleasant smile on her face, she replies to the questioning gazes of the ladies.

“Princess Fiona already discusses this matter with the Emperor, me and the crown prince. All of us give authority to her to implement this plan. She needs all your supports also. The Emperor will discuss this matter with the Kings.”

The empress’s words bring smiles to the faces of other ladies. I continue to describe my plans to them.

“I’m planning to empower women with their talents like handicrafts, sewing, food making and planting. Then we can establish markets for them to sell their goods and if there is a supplement within the kingdoms, we can establish a system to exchange them within the kingdoms.”

“Forgive me Princess Fiona. But women do these things only for the consumption of their homes. As women, how can we do the trade?”

“Giving birth is one of the severe pains in this world and women bare it. There is nothing women cannot bare if they are determined. We should encourage them by describing the importance of this to their families. Women can do anything for the betterment of their families. Only thing, they need is determination, and proper guidance.”

Princess Aliena claps with a huge smile and begins to speak cheerfully.

“I agree with the sister-in-law. Our women can support the income of the family with their talents. Why they must depend on their men always? Let’s support our women.”

“Thanks, Aliena. First, I want you ladies to organize meetings together the women of your respective kingdoms. I know the culture, resources, and the talents of the kingdoms differs. You ladies should make a list of them and at the gathering we’ll take the details of their talents after explaining our aim. I want you to lead your kingdoms under the guidance of me and Princess Aliena.”

All the ladies present in room shake their heads agreeing to my words while Princess Aliena hugs me happily.

Till I live here as the Crown Princess of the Nation, I’ll try my best to-do a fair contribution to the role.
