Chapter 10

PRINCE ALVIN POV-YEAR 2020

Before the final stage of mine and Fiona’s wedding, we were posing for the wedding painting together. After the painter left as I ordered, both of us work towards the painting without any words.

‘We two is a perfect picture together although I despise her to the extent.’ 

Suddenly a bright light came from our wedding chains, and we were drag into the picture. When the bright light faded my open surround has changed. I was in a hall with different kinds of things, and my eyes greeted with our painting. My mind was filled with different thoughts, and finally I was able to identify them clearly.

“Damn! How the hell it happens? I travel to the future. Aaliyah is a very amazing character with strong personality. Unlike me she’s very lucky to receive loving and caring husband.”

My thoughts were disturbed by Fiona’s words. So, she also comes here with me? Probably now she must also aware of our past mentioned to Aaden and Aaliyah by the worker. I feel very ashamed to know that I was cheated by a cunning woman. I’ll teach her a lesson at the first moment, I meet her again.

With that determination, I look at Fiona/ Aaliyah. She’s exactly different from the Fiona. Her hair is in a brow colour. Unlike our ladies her hair is not tightened to a bun. Their clothes are also, different. She’s wearing a light blue colour knee-length gown. Our women never wear this much short dress. But their facial feature is the same. I wonder whether Aaden is look like me or not.

“Aaden?”

Fiona asks while examining me clearly.

“Ah! Really princess Fiona? You can’t identify your husband?”

I said with a smirk. I feel free because I’m away from royal rules, traditions, and disciplines. Aaden is an interesting personality. He’s an undercover mafia boss with a face of multimillionaire businessman. He’s finding his parents killer and the lucky man even get a chance to marry his childhood sweetheart. This is the life I expect from my childhood.

“Prince Alvin? You come here too? s**t! I thought, the god has given me a handsome man as my husband by taking me here. But he has taken you here too.”

‘Is she saying true? She thinks that, I’m handsome less than Aaden? But I want to be the most handsome in her eyes.’

‘Ah! From where that thought has come?’

I corner Fiona to the wall and kiss her lips. Although, at the beginning she resists, with time she responds eagerly.

“I’m your husband, and I should be the most handsome man in the world.”

My words cause Fiona to open her closed eyes, and look at me fiercely.

“For your kind information, our marriage hasn’t completed. So, we are not husband and wife yet. Why do you want to make me your wife so suddenly? It because you come to know about Rose’s real face? Yesterday evening you were planning to divorce me after I give birth to our first child?”

Shit! Her words feel like someone stab on my heart with a dagger. She knows everything? But how? With that thought I look at her with a questioning gaze.

“Oh! Please prince Alvin. Don’t look at me with your wide eyes. What if your eyes drop into the ground?”

After saying that she laughs nonchalantly. Okay, I deserve that. 

“Your love boasts that, you don’t love me, and she can prove that if I come to the place you two meet. Of course, she was right. I come to know about the true intention of your in marrying me.”

Saying that, she walks towards our wedding dresses. 

“I wonder whether Aaden and Aaliyah have to die in our place. I hope they do not because a loving couple like them should live happily.”

She said with the hope full voice.

“No, they will not. Aaden will not allow his love to get killed. They also, know the history about our tragic story. They’ll survive till we can swap our souls to our original bodies again. Till then let’s live our life in a way that will not harm them.”

Fiona shakes her head in agreement while in deep thoughts.

“Yeah! They’ll survive surely. Aaliyah is not weak as me. she is a skilful doctor and well-trained in martial arts. I’ll also try them with her memories because, one day they’ll help me to survive when we’ll return again.”

“It’s okay with me your thoughts. But, don’t forget that, as your husband I’ll always there to protect you.”

“I don’t need your pity and not to forget that our marriage is not complete. So, I’m not your wife.”

She said while angrily grabbing away her hand from my grip.

“Fiona, calm down okay. Don’t forget that, Aaden and Aaliyah are a loving married couple in here, and we should not damage their image. So at least we should try to act as friends and conduct our lives peacefully till we find a way to swap our souls again.”

“Okay, whatever.”

She said while still gazing at her wedding gown.

“Okay, we’ll be here as Aaden planned and will leave to their country on the day they planned. Always try to act as the memories of Aaliyah. It’s good if you avoid treating the patients, and we’ll may face some critical situations in future as Aaden and Aaliyah.”

I said because Aaden is a mafia boss, and searching for the killers of his parents, sometimes this case will dangerous in the future.

“Critical situations? What the hell are you talking about?”

No, I can’t reveal her about Aaden’s secret of being the mafia boss AD because, if one day we’ll get a chance to swap our souls again, Aaliyah will come to know it again before Aaden reveal it to her. It may cause conflicts between them. This is the best way according to my opinion. I hope that all the things will happen in the best way which will not harm any of us. I have to try to search for the reasons cause this swap and make our souls to our original bodies as soon as possible.
