Chapter 19

AADEN POV- YEAR 202

“Shut up! I’m the one that ordered them to arrest you. How dare you to come to my chambers without my permission? You’ll get twenty whips for coming to my chambers without my permission and another thirty for talking to the crown princess like this. And for your mother and brother, they have tried to hurt the crown princess of the Nation. So, their punishment is death penalty. I’m the one that will kill them tomorrow. Everyone has to know the consequence of harming the Crown Princess of the Nation.”

Sofia seems to stun by my words. I look at the Prince Alvin’s guards and order them to arrest Sofia and actioning her punishment. After feeding medicine, and foods to her, I lay down on the bed with Aaliyah between my hands. I should tell her about she is pregnant.

“Aaden tell it. You have something to tell me, right?”

Her words surprise me. She understands me than anyone does.

“We are having a baby.”

I said while moving my hand onto her stomach. Her hands automatically cover mine on her stomach and she inquired me with widened eyes.

“We are having a baby?”

After shaking my head to indicate yes, I kiss on her forehead affectionately.

“I’m happy that we are having a baby. But I’m afraid about our future. What will happen if our souls swapped again to our original bodies in year 2022? Will we have to leave our baby here?”

I can understand her insecurities clearly because I also feel the same. But, I must be the strength of Aaliyah and our child. I must help Aaliyah to lessen her insecurities. With that thought, I kiss on her lips, tasting the inside of her mouth with my tongue. Our tongues battle for the dominance and I intentionally give chance for Aaliyah to win.

Her tongue in my mouth make me to dive in a wonderworld till, a painful whimper escape from her making me to come to the real world. It must be because of the wound on her shoulder. Slowly I make her lay on the bed and gaze at her eyes.

“I’m sorry. I lost control and forget about your wound for few seconds.”

I said to her after kissing on her forehead and rubbing on her tummy gently.

“It’s okay AD. You did not do anything wrong to seek forgiveness. I need that comfort to calm my emotions.”

She said while her eyes directly gazing at me and her soft hand touching my stubble right cheek gently.

“Okay, love. Let’s sleep. Tomorrow morning I’m going to kill the culprits who tried to hurt you.”

With that, we fall into a peaceful slumber.

AALIYAH POV- YEAR 202

When I wake up, I was alone on the bed and the pain of the shoulder is unbearable. I look around the chamber, searching for Aaden. He has never left the chamber before I wake up after our marriage. Probably must be because I’m in pain. With that thought, I walk towards the bathing tub. Although, we can get support of the maids in bathing, I and Aaden were not comfortable in doing so. After removing my night robe, I sit on bathing tub into the level that the wound will not get drenched.

I sigh in satisfaction after closing my eyes. I’m pregnant. It feels amazing to have the baby of Aaden in me. we are going to be parents. I don’t know what we will face in the future. Whether we will be able to go to the place we are originally belonging or will we have to leave our baby here? I’m afraid to even to think about it.

“Aaliyah, Love.”

I was pulled away from my pool of thoughts by Aaden’s voice. He runs into the room with a panic expression on his face and when he sees me he sighs.

“Sofia’s brother has escaped from the jail. I was so afraid to find that you were not on the bed.”

He removes his clothes while saying that and come into the bath tub behind me while taking me onto his lap.

“Let me help my baby mother to wash her body. I’m worried that you’ll hurt your wound.”

Saying that he begins to wash me carefully without hurting my body.

“Someone must have helped him to escape. Who it can be? Is it Sofia?”

I inquire my curiosity.

“No, it cannot be Sofia. She is still in the hospital after receiving the whips I’ve ordered. The royal guards are searching. But they are useless.”

Aaden is very angry. I can feel it.

“Don’t be angry, okay?”

I said while trying to calm down him.

“How can I not be angry, Aaliyah? He tries to kill you. Now, you are having our baby, and I’m going to protect you from everything. These fools can’t even keep guard to a culprit. How can I entrust your safety to these bastards?”

“Aaden, I trust you. I know that you will protect me and our baby.”

My words seem to calm down him. He lightly kisses on the bandage around my shoulder.

“Of course, baby I will. Let’s get you dress. I’m going o kill Sofia’s mother and others who tried to hurt you today. They’ll get shoot by poisonous arrows. As soon as Sofia’s brother get capture, he’ll also receive this death penalty.”

After wiping my body gently, he dresses me while kissing me time to time.

“Ah! Love, I forget to say you that, the Empress told me that, they are going to announce you being pregnant, after the punishment was implement.”

“I love you Aaden.”

I confess to him while kissing lightly on his lips.

“I love you too baby.”

After he kiss on my forehead, we walk to the ground where the punishment was implementing. Many people have gathered there to witness the punishment. The punishment implement by Aaden was very cruel. The culprits are informed that, if they can leave the ground before getting shoot, they will be released. When they begin to run towards the entrance, all of them are get shoot by Aaden’s poisonous arrows and killed. I have not felt any bit of sympathy towards them. They deserve it. After their bodies were removed from the ground, the Emperor announce about our pregnancy to the citizens causing the to scream, clap and hoot happily.
