Chapter 9

303 Words
The next few months went by in a blur for Caspian. He was named King two months after the Trials, Cole and Jett named his Gamma and Beta. Malcolm left the realm the day after Caspian became King. He would’ve left sooner, but his mother threatened to hunt him down to the ends of the earth if he didn’t attend the coronation. No one knew exactly what would become of Prince Malcolm, least of all Caspian and their mother, but the people held out hope that their lost prince would return one day. Everyday, Caspian fought to live up to his promise to his mother, to be worthy of the crown. He started on his initiative instantly, opening up the borders to more rogues and creating unity among his people. It wasn’t long before more land was allocated to the Redemption pack and more villages were being constructed for the influx of people. Caspian’s next goal was to add more modern touches to the realm to accommodate its growing population. Caspian arrived at the Redemption pack on Sunday, like he does every week to greet the new members and join the pack for dinner. All of the new members were gathered in the front hall, waiting to be greeted by their King. The moment Caspian entered the packhouse, he knew something was different. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up and Jess began to howl in his head. Caspian fought through the crowd, rudely ignoring everyone who attempted to greet him, until he was standing face to face with her, a blonde-haired beauty. The woman smiled brilliantly and bowed her head. “Good morning, my King,” She said in a melodic voice, “I’m Sabrina.” Continue the story of the royal legacy with “The Lonely Rogue”
