The masquerade ball

The carriage rattled over the cobblestone stone Streets as

the sound of horses hooves and laughter filling the air, inside a family of four looking so beautiful that one would be captivated at the sight of the two daughters. The eldest daughter Elizabeth and her sister Elliane. One so edgar to impresses the king while the other is just going to enjoy the all.

Elizabeth adjusted her gloves for what seemed like a hundredth time her eyes shining with anticipation. Mother do you think the king of kings will be at the ball? The carriage suddenly came to a stop as they gathered their things and prepared to step into the night. Many people also step out of their carriage carrying an air nobility and royalty. Haha.... One woman laughed we can easily differentiate peasant from our kind,even when dressed glamorously. The music and laughter spilled out of the ballroom. Elliane wore white mask while Beth wore red mask exactly as the King's eyes. The grand ball was alive with music and Laughter.

Two "mysterious men stood at the end of the balcony looking at everything going on. The first man wearing a golden mask with an air of mystery and coldness while the other with an air of calmness and easy to approach. Well, looks like its easy to differentiate our people from humans. Yes I can see that woman adorned themselves and entered the wolves nest even though they sense danger. "I can see they are all just ready to be used and discarded like a piece of worn out clothes.

Then has anything caught your eye your highness. The silver masked man asked no nothing has caught my eyes yet am still waiting afterall I have a very good feeling about tonight.

As the orchestra played on hidden in a corner of the ballroom the masked men gazed on. I have to go your highness the silver masked man said well, looks like something caught your eyes. As Ella and Beth entered they noticed many people from their village has been invited. Even their trusted neighbour was there. We have to go girls and talk to some neighbours. She just left like that I mean who does that' just left with a stranger.

Not knowing that a masked man is looking at them from a distance even though they couldn't see him. The masked man with the golden mask eyes glittered as he gazed at the lady in front of him with innocent yet curious eyes.

She is wearing blue dress with white mask on.. Her mask came down halfway but she placed it back as quickly as the speed of lightning. Looks like I finally caught something more interesting huh.

I can see that the other sister has fire in her eyes with greed hovering in there but this blue masked lady just carries so much innocence that I can't help but want to taint it with darkness.

He's mouth curved slightly as he looked at her. Your highness you are not having fun yet the silver masked man asked. You come here pour us a drink he said. As if by instinct the maid started shaking as if she could recognise the faces behind the mask especially the Golden masked man.

The golden masked man slipped his drink as he sat there lazily as he gazed intensly at the girl. Many are wearing red just to impress him but this girl wore blue with white mask her flowing down her body as if waterfall. I do have blue eyes but I have red eyes which is shown to people as my blue only comes on specific occasions.

I jumped of the balcony and landed swiftly onto the ground as nobody saw me. I can't wait to approach her. His eyed trailed on her his movements catching attention as he looked beautiful even though he wore a mask. He moved towards her like a predictor toil with his prey slow but in a sturdy rhythm. He smiked as he saw her shiver.

I want to take my eyes of him but I don't know why it's as if I have been spellbound. Maybe his passing by she thought then why is he looking at me so sturdily as if am a prey. Just as he will pass by he said my lady may I have this dance. I... I was just... Do you have a partner? He asked because his been looking at her but he hasn't noticed any partner around her. No...
