The lights from the parking lot behind him blinded her and made it imposible to see his face but making her existance in the small space painfully obvious to him.
Well...shit.
Fucking great.
She couldn't move.
Couldn't seem to find her voice either.
Her eyes stared and fixated on a giant body blocking her only way out of the room.
Jezz, what did they feed him as a child, horses?
Wide shoulders took up the entire door frame, long lean legs dressed in black jeans, hand hovering over what looked like a gun holster on his side.
He was VERY tall, at least 2 m with good 100 kg of muscle.
He looked like a martial artist, a fighter. A bit on the bulkier side, but still lean and strong. Dangerous.
He was dressed in a black or blue t shirt that fit him like it was made specificaly for him.
She couldn't see his face thanks to the f*****g HEADLIGHTS from some random ass car in the parking lot still blinding her from behind his back.
Jesus christ why are they still turned on, its been like 5 minutes, turn them off dude, you'll fry your battery....she kept on rambling to herself internaly, not letting him out of her sight, trying to slow down her train of thought. How long has it been since he broke in? 5 seconds? Was she so scared shitless that she forgot how to tell time?
FOCUS!
She was still staring at him. He was still staring back at her as well, surprised and cought of guard, waiting to see what her next move will be.
She must have looked like a deer cought in headlights.
Come on brain, do something...think! The doors are still open... Could she make it before-
He closed the door cutting her thoughts off.
The room went pitch black in an instant.
Her brain almost went to panic mode but she willed it to calm down enough to try and locate ANYTHING that could potentialy be used as a weapon against this huge MF.
Even unseccesfully but hey a girl could hope right?
On the floor next to her foot and hidden from his eyes by the bedframe she could feel she was standing on her small pocket knife that fell out of her back pocket while she was taking her clothes of to go get a shower.
It might literally be coming to a gun party with a knife but it was still better than coming with no knife at all.
She planed to go for it but before she could reach down and grab it she relised that the air around her was warmer. Her brain stopped all thinking processes and went stupid.
Instincts took over, trying to decide if the male in front of her was a threat, having a battle in her mind while trying to figure out how she would survive this.
He was right there in front of her.
Somewhere.
She could feel the heat radiating off his body, air around her becoming warmer by him just being in the room. She knew he was close, she could smell him.
His sweat, his cologne.
He smelled....good?
She couldn't put a finger on what it was but it was...nice. She thought.
The deafening silence was killing her.
At least if he spoke she could locate just how close he actually was...
Before she could finish the thought she was shaken by the sound of a hand slamming on the wall on the left side of her head.
When did he move closer without her hearing him?
And how was he that fast?
Startled by the sudden sound and how close to her head it was she inhaled sharply and froze, prepared for whatever was coming.
All that came her way were two more seconds of silence.
She felt like he was having fun doing this to her, just to scare her shitless.
To play with her before he does whatever he wanted to do with her and her body, dead or alive. Slowly her fear started to get replaced with anger.
The "fight" part of the good ol' fight or flight instinct. Something about the feeling seemed....fumiliar? It made her feel powerfull and confident. Like she could actually take down this mountain of a man and live to see another day.
Her head started to spin a little. A low growl suddenly escaped from her throat. What the fu-
"What the f**k are you doing in my room?"
Her eyes widened instantly. Her heart felt like it was about to explode.
Breathe.
She needed to breathe.
If only she could remember how to.
His voice was stern and calm at the same time.
Deeper than she thought it would be. Confident and reserved.
Not agressive per say, more interested in what exactly she was doing in "his" room. She didn't know whether she should be insulted that he didn't seem to consider her to be a threat of any kind to him or happy that at least she couldn't sense any murdery intent in the way the words were spoken.
Seconds pass and she offered no answer to his question.
Just kept staring daggers at him through the dark.
He moved closer towards her and now she began to realise the true depth of the s**t she was in.
Now at this proximity she realised just how big he actually was up close and personal. Just a minute ago theres was almost nothing in front of her, now that nothing was replaced with a ribcage and shoulders that were as wide as the closet next to her and were milimeters away from her body. He was standing so close they are almost touching. Slowly, he bent down at the waist towards her and stoped just inches above her right ear, his hand still on the wall to her left.
He towered over her. If she wasn't as scared as she was it would be almost comical. She couldn't even see his face without lifting her head way too much for her own comfort, leaving her neck wide open if he wished to go for it and grab her.
So she stared up at his neck and clavical.
Her heart skiped an entire sequence of beats and her breath just couldn't seem to find a way to leave her lungs.
She feelt so overwhelmed by his presence and body, his smell, how too intimate this all felt and it scared her out of her mind.
His other hand is on the wall to her right, his knuckles touching it lightly next to her ribcage. He caged her in with his arms and body. She felt so vounerable and weak as panic started to set in.
She hated the thought of it instantly. Of being weak and not able to defend herself at the time.
She could feel his breath on the side of her head and neck and it shook her to the core.
Shit.
"I said, what the f**k are you doing in my room?" he repeated his question to her, this time slowly and more quietly as if she didn't hear him well the first time.
Enough.
Her body moved before her brain had any time to stop her and she took to the right, pushing his arm out of the way and ducking under his shoulder, managing to get behind him in an instant.
He seemed a bit shocked by the move. Almost surprised by how fast she managed to escape him and the strenght her much smaller body was capable of producing.
But she didn't have the time to ponder wheather or not he was impressed and admiring her or coming after her to end her existance on this mortal plain.
She bolted towards the door, grabed the handle and prayed that the big fucker forgot to lock the door.
He did. Luckly.
The door opened without protest and without a second thought she ran out with every molecule of strenght she had left im her body.
All she was wearing was the dirty, pale pink "Pink Floyd" shirt stained with blood on the front, black leggings and her trusty Vans.
It was november and it wasn't as cold as it could be in Georgia, but the outfit she was in did not produce much heat.
Too bad that didn't matter to her because as far as she was concerned it could be raining rocks and razors, she was going to run as far as she could as fast as her legs would alow her to.
She had to get away from him.
ASAP.
