I looked around the hall to see what was really happening.

I heard a heavy voice "Twenty million dollars." The voice muttered, and the whole attention turned to him. Everyone wanted to see who it was. Well, the emcee didn't waste any time before declaring the auction closed.

I stared in uncertainty, as I didn't have any idea, about any drama that was even happening at the moment.

"Sold to Alpha Julio Alexander!" The emcee mumbled under his breath and dashed off the stage with immediate effect, like someone who had seen a ghost.

The whole incident was happening very fast that I couldn't actually process everything that I was seeing.

I really wanted to know why no one tried to object or make a counter bid when this man said something.

Just then, I perceived a scent that was seemingly different from all that I had perceived in the past. This particular one was just so regal and princely.

Each passing second, the scent became stronger as it kept coming nearer to me.

"Cash or transfer?" The baritone voice asked the emcee, who had resurfaced back to the stage, with the speed of light.

"Any!" He responded.

"Here are twenty briefcases full of money. You can count, confirm, and also make sure that it is complete." The Alpha said to the emcee.

It was the full payment, and that meant that I had actually become his property at that moment.

I was still pondering on the floor when a strange hand pulled me up from the ground in a very forceful manner. It was just so obvious that my fate was very unsure.

At that very moment, I was weak and miserable. I felt like my whole life had come to an end. I didn't even know what to expect next as the bodyguard lifted me up, and we headed straight to the Alpha's care.

Well, that was after they had untied the chain that was plastered all over my body. To make matters worse, my whole body was sore and also filled with injuries.

"Take her to the back of the car!" The Alpha's voice thundered.

"Yes sir." The guard replied.

Well, I was even too weak to fight them back or even object to or revolt against any plans or move they wanted to make.

I helplessly lay on the shoulder of the strange man, who was assigned to carry me to the back of the car.

Immediately we got to the car parking lot, I was very astonished with what I had seen. It wasn't just a random car or ordinary brand; it was a customized version for the alpha alone.

I stared in bewilderment, although I had to compose myself properly to avoid attracting more punishment to myself.

Soon, the driver ignited the engine of the car, and we hit the highway. I didn't know what to expect, but I felt like this alpha was really a good man.

All of a sudden, my fear became a reality. My thoughts were proven to be mere imaginations. I felt the painful and firm grip of the alpha around my neck region, and I moaned out in pain.

"You're just so pathetic and miserable. Your sight and smell alone disgust me." The alpha barked at me, and another cloud of tears started dropping down from my eyes.

Oh, moon goddess!

This was never the life that I had planned to live. Why me?

"But I am your mate, and I don't deserve this vile treatment from you." I replied to him, and I was shut up with a big punch to the face.

I knew that truly, this might be my end. This was just the beginning of another suffering.

"You sound so pathetic, and your tears make me want to tear you apart and also lick your blood. I love the sound of your crying girl. Cry me some more, cry!" He mocked me and tried to insert his two fingers into my mouth while pulling my hair in a very forceful manner.

This was just the height of it all.

"You're hurting me." I cried out in weakness, but he didn't stop. He rather intensified the pain. It was just very obvious that he was enjoying the pain that he was inflicting on me.

Even though I was screaming at the top of my voice, he didn't even look concerned in any way. He just made sure that he continued to do what he was doing.

Why was this Alpha a monster?

Was this what I was going to spend the rest of my life enduring?

Even after I tried countless times to break free from his grip, I knew that it was just a lost battle because I didn't stand a chance with him in terms of physical strength.

Finally, we got to the supposed castle of the alpha.

It was definitely the most luxurious and gigantic edifice that I had ever set my eyes on. The castle was designed with gold in almost every corner, and the ground and door are made with diamonds.

A real description of luxury.

Immediately I came out of the car that I was in, and I could clearly see different maids bowing their heads down. Maybe it was highly prohibited for anyone of them to stare at the alpha on the face directly.

Just then, a young maiden rushed out and dragged my hands. She led the way, as I weakly scampered behind her.

Where was she taking me to?

What was going to be my fate?

Where are they going to s*******r me?

I had over a million questions to ask at that moment, but I just kept calm and followed her. I wouldn't forget to admit that I fell in love with the luxurious designs that greeted me in that castle.

Truth be told, I knew that I actually wanted to have a taste of good life, too.

Just then, we entered a hallway in the castle after walking through a step where every corner, both left and right, was dark and scary. I heard a sobbing sound from afar. What is happening? Are my eardrums intact? Am I hallucinating what is yet to happen to me? Is it a sound of torture? Several thoughts are coming to my head.
