One Luna.. Two fated Mates

As the song came to an end, Nolan looked into her eyes and she saw fear, anguish, love and darkness...

"Sara... I don't expect you to trust me! we just met, but please just keep smiling and head out with me. We need to get out of here now!" Nolan said softly, behind his fake smile, as to not have anyone listen in on him. He bowed his head and kissed her hand, sending tingles up her arm and into her heart.

'Damn! he sure is something!' she heard a voice in her head... What was that? My Goddess.. could it really be? Her wolf! it had to be her wolf! 'Please be my wolf!'

'Yes! yes! it's me!' said her wolf happily!

'What's your name?' asked Sara happy she had a wolf who would always have her back!

'Lana! My name is Lana! I'll always be here for you! No matter what!' that warmed her heart! She knew instantly they would work great together!

"Sara what's wrong?" Nolan looked worried, was she feeling sick? She was paler than a second before, something was going on!

"My Wolf! She's here!" Sara was beaming! To Nolan's relief

'Do you smell that Sara?' asked Lana

'Yes, his musky and wine scent is amazing isn't it?' Sara said in her mind, eyes shooting up to Nolan, who looked at her expectantly.

'No Sara! Pay attention! there's another scent! Soft ocean breeze... my mouth is watering...' Her wolf was so excited she couldn't think straight.

That's when she felt it! It hit her like a ton of bricks! She smelled the fresh ocean breeze, it filled her lungs like it was the oxygen she needed to live!

From the middle of the party a tall ,blond, impressively handsome man was running towards her. She couldn't move, she couldn't blink.

HOW. WAS. THIS. HAPPENING?

She felt it! With every fiber of her being, the Mate pull, or Beloved pull as she could sense he was a Vampire.

"Sara! My love! Are you OK? I know this is going to sound crazy, but I'm your love! I already know you! I'm sorry I didn't get here first this time my love!" The blond man said to her , and she was frozen solid, she couldn't move.

A loud growl was heard as Nolan placed himself between the two of them, not knowing what the hell was going on. Was this her boyfriend or something?

This thought only made Jax growl louder, no one was going to touch his mate, and if this s**t stick had already touched her, he would pull him apart limb by limb.

"This traitor can't be trusted my love! Don't you remember? He tried to kill us all! He wants your family dead!" The strange man was bearing his teeth at Nolan.

Nolan looked pale now.. 'How the hell did this vampire know about his plans? Was he part of it all?' This would end badly.

"What the fuc.." Nolan was cut off by a pissed off hissing sound coming from behind them, it seems this whole stranger lover boy thing had caught everyone's attention. The King was near them now, an angry look on his stone cold face.

"Sara! What is the meaning of this? Who is this man, why is he calling you love?" There was a very angry vein in the Kings forehead that looked about to pop.

"Dad.... I.... He's.... BELOVED" she choked the words out of her mouth not believing them herself, but she could feel it... It WAS REAL!

She felt the pull.. to BOTH...

"HOW IN THE FU..." BOOOOMMM

The Kings words were cut off as an explosion hit the ballroom... Caos... debris.. screaming.. running... their bodies flying across the room..

Sara couldn't see anything, there was a cloud of white smoke covering everything. She tried to get up.. She felt a sharp pain in her abdomen, something was very wrong, she couldn't move.. She looked around and saw her father lifeless on the floor something big sticking out of his chest.. she felt faint.. her ears were ringing..

"Sara!" she heard someone call her, she felt him near, her mate, Nolan

He crawled over to her and his face fell, she knew then that whatever it was, it was bad.

"No baby, I'm here! I got you!" He leaned her body on his chest and kissed the top of her head, then her lips.. When their lips touched she felt it.. she knew he poured all his love into it. He loved her 'Is he saying goodbye?'

"Don't touch her! You don't deserve a hair on her head you piece of s**t!" The Vampire said pulling her from Nolan as gently as he could and seeing how badly hurt she was. His whole body started to shake, he was losing her... again... he didn't think he could survive this again.. the pain was already ripping through him.

"My love! It's me! It's Victor! I didn't make it in time, I tried my love, please don't leave me again!" He cried and kissed her sweetly his love pouring into it like his life depended on it.. and it did! She couldn't leave him!

'Oh Moon Goddess! How is it possible to feel like this for two people I don't even know yet?' Sara was thinking as she felt the love between her and these men.

She looked at them, both of her loves, they had so much fear in their tear filled eyes. So much love and so much regret..

"This is all my fault baby! I'm so sorry! I had no idea you would be my mate! I had no idea this would happen like this! It wasn't supposed to go off until after the party..." Nolan's voice trailed off. He was shaking and crying uncontrollably now.

It was true then! What Victor said! Her mate, was indeed a traitor.. She felt a stabbing pain in her heart, she didn't know if it was from her wounds or from her heartbreaking.

She tried to look around see past all the smoke, she wanted to find her family, she could hear screaming and howls, but they seemed far away now, she couldn't focus on it anymore, she felt her life straining..

'I'm dying! Lana! I'm dying!'

Her wolf whimpered in response and she knew it, this was really the end.

"My Love! Listen to me! I know you don't remember this, but everything I promised you is true! Our life! Our love was real! Our baby was real! I can still see her face my Love! She looked so much like you!"

Nolan was in shock! This Vampire was crazier than he thought!

Sara's eyes widened, somewhere in the back of her brain she knew he was telling her the truth, she saw glimpses of this life he was talking about, a tiny glimpse of a chubby baby sleeping in her arms made her weap. He knew, he saw in her eyes.. Victor hugged her tighter, she felt no pain anymore, she felt peace

BOOOMMMMM A bright light, another loud explosion and then Blank... there was nothing..

Sara felt as if she was floating, light and peaceful

"Sara my child!" a sweet voice called out to her

"Come to me! Open your eyes" The voice was alluring and angelical..

Slowly Sara opened her eyes, she was on the edge of a beautiful lake, silver and peaceful. In the middle of the lake, hovering above the water was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen, long silver hair and deep gray eyes. Selene! It had to be her!

"My child! How unfortunate this set of events have been! My children have lost their way in their hunt for glory and power! But the time has come to intervene, and make things right again! The time has come to end the war, and Unite!" She said with the most loving smile.

"I'm dead my Goddess! How will I help

you?" Sara knew she couldn't have made it through those explosions, very few probably did.

"You my darling, are the key! You are the chosen one! We have done this before a few times, everything Victor told you was true... But I'm afraid, this will be our last chance." she landed besides Sara and took her hand

"Let's make it count my child!"

some time passed...

"You won't remember much of our long conversation here when you go back, but this time will be different. You will remember this: Follow your heart! I NEVER make a mistake! "

Sara felt like she was falling in a deep hole very deep, darkness all around her...

Sara blinked a few times... a weird feeling in her stomach.. where was she? Looking around she gasped! There she was... in front of the mirror, in her room... getting ready for the Ball with Maya!
