Zachary had lived with this man for over 68 years now, and it was time for him to move on and be one with himself. They had moved out of Chicago around the 1960s and went down to California, where they stayed for a while. He had learned so much from this old man, who was 324 years old, but didn’t look a day over 35. It was amazing how slowly vampires aged, making Zachary quite a looker.
By now he was still as short as he was, and astonishing 5’2 and still frail looking, though he has taken down an entire hog pack on his own before. The getting was tough around the wintertime, and the vampire refused to hurt a human just for a meal. Nearly starved, Zachary decided to go out and hunt while his so called “Father” rested in the dark brown coffin.
Walking out into the snow, Zachary bore a lightweight black and green striped jacket, dark blue jeans, and some black combat boots. He walked through the thick snow, hearing it crunch under the heavy boots, the sound pleasing to his hypersensitive ears. Walking deeper into the forest, he lost track of time. He had found a small rabbit to snack on, burying the small corpse after he was finished. He may have been a cold-blooded killer, but he wasn’t cruel. He either always buried the meal or, without telling anyone, left it on the werewolves’ territory boarder.
After a few hours, he smiled as he found a small boar. There was a small opening in the forest, as he crouched down and started to mask his breath. Locking his eyes onto the target, and once the moment presented itself, he pounced.
Finishing his meal, Zachary felt the hunger pains leave. Vampires only must eat once every 4 days, so he should be good for about three days since his metabolism ran faster than most. Standing, he finally realized where he was, standing almost directly on the boarder between himself and his kinds enemy. However, Zachary never understood why they were enemies. If they were to work together, thousands of his kind wouldn’t starve in these cold winter months as they usually do.
The dark night sky was lit up with thousand of tiny stars as the creatures of the woods slept, some hunting in the night. Hearing a twig snap, Zachary was brought out of his thoughts as he crouched down again. His emerald eyes watching as he heard the creature walk closer. Listening closely, he could tell it was a four-legged creature, then the smell hit him. Panicking slightly, he felt his heart race as he watched a large wolf walk up to the boar corpse.
The wolf was about 6’2 standing on all fours, wondering around alone, which was unusual for werewolves as they usually hunted in packs. Focusing his eyes, he looked at the details and markings on the wolf as it ate the leftovers. It was dark brown with a black stripe all the way down its back to the tip of its tail. The eyes on the creature were a bright blue, almost as bright as the stars in the night sky.
Zachary felt his heart race and sweat run down his cheek. Suddenly, the wolf snapped his head up and sniffed the air, a soft growl leaving his lips. Then, Zachary felt the beautiful bright eyes land directly on him and he froze, hiding his breath.
A soft glow surrounded the wolf as he began to stand on his hind legs, turning back into his human form. The man behind the dog was even more handsome than Zachary could have even imagined. He was beautiful. Still standing at about 6’2, the man had dark brown hair with a few black streaks in them, light brown skin, an athletic build, and amazing abs. Zach felt a bit jealous about how the man had abs, he himself having a more feminine figure. Suddenly, those beautiful blue eyes locked on his green eyes as a raspy voice spoke out, causing the young man to tremble softly.
“I know you’re hiding there bloodsucker, come out where I can see you.”
The younger man whimpered softly, slowly beginning to stand and walk out behind the bushes he was hiding behind. His eyes fell to the ground as he watched his feet slowly walk out.
With a blank face, the wolf watched as the man walked out. Suddenly, without warning, the wolf began to laugh. f*****g laugh. Zachary was astonished, watching as this man chuckled at him while those gorgeous eyes watered softly. “What the f**k are you laughing at?”, the vampire hissed softly, feeling his face heat up as a blush sat across his face.
Starting to calm himself, the wolf took a few breaths. “I-I’m sorry,” he spoke through a chuckle. “Its just that when I smelled a vampire, I was expecting a brooding 6’4 man walks out, instead…” he smiled charmingly, walking closer. “A cutie walked out. You just caught me by surprise.” A smirk fell on his lips. Zach looked down again, noticing the man was wearing… nothing.
“I’m Dakota, but people just usually call me Kota.” Zachary felt his face grow hotter again as he tore his eyes away from Dakota’s naked body to the man’s handsome face. He had such beautiful skin, gorgeous eyes, and a large c**k. Zachary couldn’t help but notice that last part, though it was a good part in his opinion.
“I-I’m Zachary…” He whispered softly. Dakota licked his lips sensually, making the vampire look away again once more.
“Well, Zachary... thank you for the meal. I really hope I can see you again…” The man began to walk closer to the smaller boy, smirking softly as he did so. Zachary backed up until his back hit the tree, locking his eyes with the werewolf’s. suddenly, he could feel Dakota’s breath against his cheek. “Maybe really soon.”
Reaching a hand up, Dakota touched the vampire’s cheek. The wolf’s hand was on fire compared to the undead cold skin the vampire bore. Without realizing it, Zachary began to lean into the touch, feeling his face softly nuzzle into the warm hand. Dakota began to smirk again.
Suddenly, a loud howl rang through the forest, seemingly to come from every direction. Dakota backed away from the surprised vampire, the glow surrounding his body as his muscles and bones began to break and crack, turning back into the wolf he is, and then turned to run off.
Stunned and confused, Zachary watched until he couldn’t see the man anymore. His breath began to regulate as he walked back towards his home, zoned out the entire time. After a few more hours, he arrived back home just before the sun started to come up. Crawling into his coffin, Zachary couldn’t help but start to squeal softly as he remembered the moment, he felt warmth against his cold skin, trembling softly.
Closing his eyes, he began to dream about the man, hoping to whatever god there was that he would be able to meet up with the wild man again, hoping to do more than just meet up with him as well.
