As soon as Daniel and her had left, the tension in the room lifted. We all stood still for a short moment not knowing what else we had to do. There was a mixture of thoughts going through Juliet's head. Relief of not leaving her sister, dread of becoming one of us, hope that she'll never see his Highness again.
I told her I would get her out of this mess, but I feel like I've just got her deeper into the situation until death. She didn't want to become a vampire, that was more than obvious. She still had so much to learn about and so much more she would have to witness that we put off in case it would just end up being useless information.
