"Home sweet home," Damien merrily says as we step through the portal together. I stay silent and let him unlock his office door before storming out to get away from him. I walk down the corridor taking off my shoes and open my bedroom door to throw them in before making my way downstairs.
A lot of things happened tonight. I made passive contact with Abigail, I made pretty much every vampire in the room hate me, I found out when I'm getting turned, I practically mentally admitted that I never want to leave Damien alone, I stood up to, probably, the most deadly vampire of them all and I called this place my home.
