The Journey of Self-Love: A Motivational Verse

1059 Words
In the grand tapestry of life, woven with dreams and strife, There lies a thread, often overlooked, that binds our every life. A thread of self-love, strong and true, a beacon in the night, A guiding light for young and old, shining ever bright. Listen, dear hearts, both young and old, to this tale I unfold, Of self-love's power, its magic touch, more precious than gold. For in this world of endless races, of victories and defeat, Self-love is the armor, the shield, that makes us compete. To the young ones, just starting out, with dreams in their eyes, Remember, self-love is not a prize, but a journey that never dies. In the mirror of your soul, see your own reflection, Not in others, but in yourself, find your direction. To the ones in their prime, battling life's uphill climb, Remember, self-love is not a crime, but a rhythm and rhyme. In the symphony of life, play your part with pride, For self-love, the melody is the beat of the tide. To the ones with silver hair, with wisdom beyond compare, Remember, self-love is not rare, but a treasure to share. In the book of life, write your story with grace, For self-love is the ink, the quill, the embrace. Hold yourself dear as the end is always near. Self-love is not vanity, nor a sign of conceit, It's the acceptance of self, in victory or defeat. It's the courage to say, "I am enough, I am complete." It's the strength to stand tall, even in deceit. Self-love is the seed from which all love grows, It's the river of kindness that endlessly flows. And as love should glow It's the light in the darkness, the rose in the snow, It's the power within us that eternally lights as it fights. So, dear hearts, remember this, as you journey through a life that will cause you strife, Amidst the joy, the pain, the stride, amidst the hustle and rift, Yes' this week, you can always choose to trip. I rip. As I begin to not loose grip I just got a whiff Of how much I conceitedly know As I row The wife That was worth more than triff. As she listens to the air That you could cut there So should self-love ever compare? Self-love is not just a word, but a lifeline, a resource, a knife, To cut through the darkness, to live a life fulfilled once and not twice As I did jump the broom as he was a groom that made room And not threatened me to move as I continued to groove . As I always show and prove In the end, remember this, as you walk your path, In the math of life, self-love is the aftermath. It's the compass that guides, the staff that leads, It's love that heals, love that feeds. So, let the journey of self-love begin, In the book of life, let this be your first pin. In the end, it's not about the win, But the love for self, that lies within. Just know myself enough to know I love myself as if I were a twin. So, when I win I really get it in. So join me Become not mean But a team And everybody will be forced to know what I mean. As I look in the mirror I realize that you are not there. But self-love I shall not compare For each individual Is like residual They wait and glare And look at themselves really rare But did they tell themselves they love well Or must I continue to tell That I'm the girl to put the world on a spell And tell the tale Of how much you will love very well As the meek in the week Continues to speak Or was it weak of me To think you could ever believe In such a team In me In we But as we be I act of three And really mean what I bring So don't play in the boxing ring. When you were just two of few looking at you And as you continue to do Not to be rude But love yourself more As I adore the hours as they pour. So don't tear When you want the end to come so near That you can't even think clear Not to look at every smear in this mirror I too Am through That could be with you But did you notice the view? As I look back and dine at every smile of mine I promise you that I can come as thick as twine. Am I sweet as wine? That's why I may try or cry But why ask why? When there's seconds on mine So, if I'm on your mind I hope it wasn't a nightmare of a grind. No wonder why I get so much off of mine. But I won't let an expectancy neglect me. I may be even more than three. As I may even beg of thee To give me what's due to me This tale as I tell I expect well and rare As no one can compare I noticed the discount wasn't a bonus. But as I noticed my bones Didn't love Jones as I'm grown I know I deserve a throne. Cuz if I could cuzz, I promise you I would say as much That a ditched dutch Wants to confess so much That is such a mess as I compress In the west But as my self-love gleams and glistens As everyone listens To what I mean When I meant to be mean As I enjoy being me But as I continue this long riddle I even just began to giggle. And move around just a little I almost want to be as fat as a wiggle. Did I just now make you giggle? My ability needs to get with me So as strong as my wrong Just know I could always get along And could sing the song of self-love. That I wear as close to my skin as a glove That could never shove But as you read what I spell, as I compel you to not be blue in you But love yourself better than any two or few I promise if you do You just grew
