Esma watched her room in the Ozkan mansion with mixed feelings; this place dragged her back to her past and the memories unraveled like a movie in front of her. Her mother’s teary face begging her to stay after knowing that she was not her daughter appeared on the screen of her imagination. She quickly turned that remembrance in her head off as her hand wiped the tears in her eyes. She stepped inside the room and put all her stuff in their place, letting the activity absorbed all her sadness. Despite all the difficulty to cope with the situation, she was sure that time would remove all those bad memories. “Esma….” Her mother emerged at the doorway as she was busy hanging her clothes inside the wardrobe. “The dinner is ready. The maid will take care of your things. Let’s get downstairs.”
