Throughout, Marshall had never expressed astonishment at Katherine's expression. Katherine felt she looked fine, therefore she didn't care how much the man in the monk robe and the designer congratulated her. She wouldn't stand out at a dinner party with all the pretty people.
Katherine removed the gown after being checked out from head to toe and finding nothing wrong with her appearance. When she returned home at night, she would take off her makeup.
Even though Katherine was unaware of the gown's price, she chose not to pay for it. There was also packing for the shoes. With them, Marshall got into his car.
After bidding farewell to the designer and the man wearing the monastic robe, Katherine entered the vehicle.
