My tipsy body stumbled up and down the sidewalks, dodging cracks and and garbage cans that seemed to be approaching more frequently. The city lights glowed behind me but I found my eyes to be heavy and fogged that it just looked like long stringed stars, like when there is something smudged on your glasses and you look a light. My eyes fought to stay open. I scanned my surroundings, up and down the lamp-lit street, looking for a familiar house. And it wasn't my own.
