Mimori’s body had healed the moment her body slipped into the ocean. The gaping wounds that riddled her body finally mended. Cool sand shifted under her torso as she regained consciousness, pain radiating through her body. She groaned, attempting to roll herself onto her back. Using her weight, she managed to flop over. What the hell happened? Where am I now? she thought, coughing heavily, forcing the water from her lungs.  Using her uninjured arm to prop herself up to a sitting position, Mimori felt her side.
