"Marcus, what are you doing?"
A voice sounded behind Marcus, snapping him out of his thoughts. He turned to answer. "What do you mean, Elijah? She escaped after knocking Lou unconscious. I couldn't stop her, and she fled." Marcus took a few steps into the destroyed room. Bending his torso, he peered through the hole in the wall at Lou.
"Subject 36 kicked your ass there, didn't she?" Marcus chuckled to himself as Lou finally began to come to.
"f**k off, old man. You had one f*****g job, and you couldn't do it." Lou sneered as he pulled himself out of the rubble. Dusting his pants off, he stepped back through the hole in the wall, walking right up to Marcus, their faces inches apart.
