Without realizing it, Alyshah and I had already been on the road for more than half a month. When we made it past another mountain forest, we could vaguely see the outlines of a city in the distance.
“That’s Blue Skies City,” announced Alyshah with a proud tone in her voice as she pointed to it. She was eager to return to her home as soon as possible. It was obvious her strength did not lessen her appreciation for the place where she was born.
“Blue Skies… This is the city our academy is named after.”
Alyshah led me through the streets of Blue Skies, introducing me to various historical sites as well as the special customs here in the city. It turned out that Blue Skies used to be the capital city of the empire, but that was hundreds of years ago in the past.
