Doris was talking about the mercenary we saved last time who happened to have beastman blood in him, and also one of Val's men. He was mostly resting to recuperate from his injuries on our journey to Rowe, and I had forgotten to even ask his name. Just like us, beastman blood ran in his veins, so we might be able to get some useful information from him.
Speaking of which, it had been quite a while since I parted with Val and his group. I really would have had no idea how to get out of Haldi if I hadn't bumped into Val back then. With that in mind, I decided to catch up with him at the Mercenaries Guild while meeting up with the beastman to have a chat.
