First thing the next morning, I followed the group into Rowe. Rowe was much larger than Haldi, whether it was the buildings, the streets, or even the size of the crowd.
Val pointed out Rowe's directions to me and we said our farewells. He had intended to send me to the academy, but with what happened yesterday, they were in a hurry to settle their work. Still, he warned me to be cautious as that man could very well be in the city, and that I should head to Rowe's Mercenaries Guild (branch) if anything were to happen.
After parting with Val and the group, I made my way toward Rowe Academy alone. In her beast form, Doris secretly poked her head out of my bag to look around.
"Thanks, Doris. You were the one who sang that war song for me, weren't you?"
