I soon got into my role as class president and began handling the daily affairs of the class. I also got to know my professors and classmates, and I started to learn the basics of magic.
First off, magic was divided into four major schools and thirteen different arts.
Namely:
The Nature school - consisting of Fire, Earth, Ice, Wind, Lightning, and Earth element Arts.
The Spatial school - consisting of Space, Time, and Chaos Arts.
The Mystery school - consisting of Light and Darkness, inclusive of Holy and Dark Arts.
The Spiritual school - consisting of the Mind and Spirit, inclusive of Willpower and Soul Arts.
Mages were further divided into ranks. In order, they were: Novice Magician, Intermediate Magician, Adept Magician, Grand Magician, Magus, High Magus, and Archmagus.
