Chapter 10: Conference At AyranLlewellyn, Maca of Don; Lorenz, Laird of Don; Daniel, Maca of Ishner; JoAnne, Lass of Ayran; and Jerome, Lad of Don, all entered Jarvis, Maca of Ayran's;office. Jolene, Guardian of the Realm, was already there waiting for them. Llewellyn had insisted Jerome be with them.
Daniel opened the box of crystals and set them before Jarvis and Jolene. Jarvis tried to look knowledgeable, but knew he fooled nay, least of all his mither, Jolene. She looked at them and shook her head. She lifted the largest and examined it. Finally, she looked at the rest.
“The cuts are of the highest quality. How old did ye say these are?”
