Chapter 20: The Courtship ContinuesJerome was delighted with his arrangement with Ishner and the Counselor of the Realm. He would meet Ieddie for lunch at one of Ishner's fish restaurants or bring a picnic lunch to share at the waterfront. Then he would proceed to the Guardian of the Realm's Ayran office for the afternoon if needed. Sometimes he and Ieddie would eat dinner in Ishner before he returned to Don, or she would meet him at the Warrior's Haven in Don for dinner. He intended to make every minute of the next three days count.
Ieddie, however, was becoming more impatient each day. How could this Earth being hold out so long without a bedding? It began to worry her.
