Dario’s Dad Mr.Wagner becomes so tired of the whole situation. All the pressures he’s been mounting on Dario don’t seem to be yielding any solution at all. So decided to threaten Dario using he’s life. And even though Dario is having some issues with he’s Dad right now, he doesn’t play around when he’s sick or something bad wants to happen to him at all.
His decided to plan something with his doctor, so that it can persuade Dario into getting married.
He plans for the doctor to diagnosis a fake illness for him, that he has cancer and just has six months to live.
He was in his luxurious study, where he has called in Doctor Williams for a private conversation.
Mr. Wagner with a serious expression. ”Doctor Williams, thank you for coming today. I need to discuss something of utmost importance with you regarding my son, Dario.”
Doctor Williams looking so concerned. “Of course, Mr. Wagner. I'm here to help in any way I can. What seems to be the matter?”
Mr. Wagner sighs. “It's about Dario's reluctance to get married. I'm getting older, and I want to see him settled and have a family, but he just won't listen to me. I'm afraid he won't take me seriously, and it's breaking our relationship.”
Doctor Williams replying him. “I understand your concern, Mr. Wagner. Family dynamics can be complex, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. But resorting to deception might not be the best solution.”
Mr. Wagner firmly. “I know, Doctor, but I've tried everything else. He won't even consider finding a life partner. I thought if he felt the gravity of the situation, he might finally understand the importance of family and love.”
Doctor Williams standing up to stretch out. “I empathize with your situation, but manipulating Dario's emotions with a fake illness could have severe consequences. Once he finds out, it will damage his trust in you and possibly cause irreparable harm to your relationship.”
Mr. Wagner pauses, looking conflicted. “I hadn't thought that far. But I'm desperate, Doctor. He's my only son, and I just want what's best for him.”
Doctor William also seeing sense with what he is asking for. “But if that’s the only way that will make him get married I say we give it a try.”
After a long discussion they agreed on going on with the plan. They waited until Monday when Mr. Wagner normally visit doctor Williams for his medical check up to set the plan in motion.
On Monday morning, Mr. Wagner arrived at Doctor Williams' office as usual for his regular medical checkup. As planned make a fake diagnosis and call Dario and so they did.
“Dario you have to come to the hospital now, it’s your father.” Doctor William said to Dario as he called him.
Dario was busy in his office when the call came in and he was a bit shocked. “What?! What’s wrong with my dad?”
“I will explain when you get here.” Doctor said as he hunged up the call.
Dario immediately ended the board meeting he was having and rushed to the hospital. Thoughts raced through his mind, and he feared the worst for his father. He arrived at the hospital very quickly and sprinted inside, searching for Doctor Williams.
"Doctor Williams, what's happened to my father? Is he okay?" Dario asked, trying to catch his breath.
Doctor William sounding concerned. “Dario slow down, calm down.”
Dario anxiously. “I don’t need this doctor, tell me what’s going on?”
"Dario, I'm afraid your father's condition has taken a turn for the worse. We've did some test and he appears, he has cancer. I'm sorry to say that he might have only six months to live."
Dario's face went pale, and he felt a lump forming in his throat. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His father, whom he had always seen as strong and invincible, was now facing a life-threatening illness.
"I can't believe this," Dario whispered, struggling to hold back tears. "How could this happen?"
Doctor Williams put a comforting hand on Dario's shoulder. "I know this is incredibly difficult to take in, Dario. But right now, your father needs all the love and support he can get. He's been very worried about you. This might be an opportunity for both of you to strengthen your bond and find a way to heal your relationship."
The thought of losing him was unbearable. "I... I need some time to process all of this. Can I see him?" He asked
Doctor Williams nodded. "Of course. He's in Room 203. Just remember, time is precious, and it's essential to make the most of it."
As Dario made his way to his father's room, he was angry and hurt that his father had kept his illness a secret from him, but he also felt a sense of responsibility and love towards him. When he entered the room, he found his father looking so sad and pale.
"Dario," Mr. Wagner weakly called out, his eyes filled with emotion. "I'm sorry you had to find out this way. I didn't want to burden you. He said with emotion in his voice.
Dario held back his tears, trying to be strong for his father. "I wish you had trusted me enough to share this with me, Dad. We could have faced this together."
Mr. Wagner nodded, regret evident in his eyes. "I know, son, and I'm sorry for what I did.
"It’s okay Dad, don't talk like that. We'll fight this together, and you'll get better," Dario said, trying to sound hopeful.
Mr. Wagner is the only family Dario has now since his mother did in a car accident and he wouldn’t want to lose his father two years later, but it looks inevitable now. He started thinking on how he’s going to make this remaining six months he got to live the most happiest, that’s when he started considering getting married. At least he’s dad should see him get married, even though he still don’t believe in love. He’s planning on a way around it.
