AVERY'S P.O.V
Lightning cracked over us and rain drops began to plop down to the earth from the sky, this brought us out of our staring stupor and we both rushed inside the cave, making sure to not scrape our heads. The cave was surprisingly spacious and wide enough for both Alpha Lucien and I to stand straight, the ground was already covered in multiple leaves and branches. I'm guessing this might have been the cave of a huge animal like a bear. I blinked at the thought that we could be in the cave of the bear that tried to kill me, the thought of another bear in here gave me goosebumps and I shuddered.
"Are you cold?" Alpha Lucien spoke starting me out of my thoughts, I rushed to refuse but he was already pulling off his jacket.
"No, I'm not cold....oh....um thank you" I muttered as h
