I stared straight at him as I spoke, though my legs were shaking a bit from all the attention focused on me. I took a deep breath as I continued, "...I know I'm not what you were expecting as a mate and your Luna and I understand that. When and if you find the Luna that will suit your pack and your expectations, I will step down readily."
"Like hell you will, I do not agree to this" Jessica shrieked as she ran in front of me, her face was twisted in anger as she balled her fists at me. I moved back a bit to avoid her hands.
"You. I won't let you take him, I won't let you have him. Like you said, you don't deserve him at all."
