Chapter Three: Waiting for Him

He opened the room's door with his feet while holding her as a bridal style in his arms. The room's door opened and he walked then lay her down on the bed while she was looking at him. He stood up and was about to walk but she stopped him by holding his hand and he looked back at her.

'I am sorry and Thank you.' Jannat said while looked up and leave his hand.

'I am going to change in the restroom, you can change here.' Elam said then took his night clothes from wardrobe and walk in the restroom. She slowly also got up and change her clothes then walk back on the bed when he came out and they looked at each other.

'You can sleep right side and I will sleep on left side.' He said while putting cushion between the bed as a wall and she nodded her head. He walk towards her and closed his eyes then he read something and blow on her while she was just looking at him.

'What did you read?' She asked when he was about to turn around.

'I read ayatul kursi (verses' from quran).' Elam said.

'Why?' Jannat ask innocently and he looked at her.

'You get good sleep if you read Ayatul Kursi before sleep and you should blow on others as well.' Elam said and she nodded her head while walk toward his bed' s side. Then he turned off the light and laid down on his side while she laid down on hers.

'Good night Elam.' Janant said and closed her eyes.

'Good night Jannat.' Elam said and sleep took over them.

She opened her eyes when someone was shaking her shoulder.

'Janaat , get up.' Someone was whisper said to her and She opened her eyes and there he was leaning on her while trying to woke her up.

'Janaat.' Elam said and she got up from bed then look around. She confused looked at him and then looked at clock. It was only 05:00 in morning and he was looking really fresh as if he was ready to go somewhere.

'You can read Salah.' Elam said and she looked at him.

'At this time?'she asked confused and he weird looked at her.

'Yes, its morning Salah.' He said while putting on jacket.

'I never know.' Jannat said and he Shocked looked at her while she was innocently looking at him.

'You never read Salah in morning.' Elam asked surprised and she nodded her head in no.

'Mom and Dad never wake me up. I don't read 5 Salahs a day regularly.' She confessed.

'Well, I am going to read in mosque, then I will go for jogging with dad and Aryan. You should get up and read.'Elam said

'And How many I have to read?' Jannat asked before he could walk away and he looked back at her then sighed .

'2 Sunnah and 2 Fard.' Elam said and she nodded her head in yes while he walked out and she misses his presence and she don't understand why? She shook her head then walk towards restroom and get inside to do her Wudhu . She finished reading her Salah then decided to go downstairs. She walked into the kitchen where her mother-in-law was talking to maid over something.

'Salam.' Jannat said and they looked at her.

'Wasalam and good morning.' Mrs Malika said while smiling and she walked inside.

'What are you doing?' Jannat asked

'I am making breakfast for everyone as everyone like food with my hands.' Mrs Malika said lovingly.

'Do you want me to help you.' Jannat asked

'No, you don't have to. I am nearly done. All men will be back soon from jogging then, we can put food on table.' Mrs Malika said and she nodded her head in yes.

'Hello everyone.'Ayat said as soon she entered in the kitchen and they looked up and smile to her.

'You know Jannat, mum always make breakfast just for dad as he loves food which is made by mum.' Ayat said teasingly

'Shut up Ayat, no nonsense.' Mrs Malika replied and they start laughing.

'Okay, food is ready. Lets put it on table.' Mrs Malika said and they all nodded their head. They were putting food on the table when all men entered in the house and walk toward them.

'Salam.' All men said and tiredly sat down on table.

'Wasalm.' They all replied and sat on the table. As well while They all started the food.

'I won today again, they loss.' Aryan said and they all looked at him.

'Really Aryan, you came second Elam came first as usual.' Mr Farooq said and Mrs Malika and Ayat smiled shoe Jannat confused was looking at them.

'They every Saturday had A race after jogging from park to home.' Ayat said to Janant while seeing her sitting there confused and Janant nodded her head in yes then smile.

'No Elam brother cheated.' Aryan said and Janant looked at him.

'Elam never cheats.' Mrs Malika said

'Yeah, you favourite son never cheat.' Aryan said annoyed

'Yeah Mum is right, it's your hobby.' Ayat commented and Aryan glared at her. Jannat looked at Elam who was smiling while eating.

'Mum, he is just jealous.' Elam said and everyone smile

'Whatever.' Aryan said while they all smiled and start eating the food in silence.

'Here is your gift.' Mr Farooq said after a while while passing him an envelop.

'What is it?' Elam asked while getting the envelop from his father's hand .

'Your honeymoon tickets.' Mr Farooq said and everyone looked at him.

'Wow, that great.' Ayat said happily.

'Where you going?' Aryan asked another Quentin .

'Greece.' Elam said while looking at the tickets.

'Thats amazing ' Aryan said happily.

'When you are going?' Ayat asked

'Next week. 'Elam said and looked at Janaat who uncomfortably moved on her chair, clearly showing she was very much unhappy with the new.

'You don't have to do that Dad. I won't be able to go because of work.' Elam said while noticing her discomfort.

'No, you two are going on honeymoon. You two really need to spend some time together.' Mr Farooq sis and he just nodded his head. They all finished their food then back to their rooms to get ready. After getting ready Ayat and Aryan went to study. Elam and his dad went to office whereas she got up and help around with her mother-in-law.

She was looking at a clock because she had been waiting for him. She never waited for anyone ever. She don't like waiting but today she was waiting for him and she don't know why? he opened the door and entered in the room. She was reading book while sitting on the bed. He closed the door and she looked up at him from the book.

'Salam.' Elam said while tiredly took off his tie and sat down on bed.

'Wasalam.' Jannat replied and got up on the bed.

'Why you come late today.' Jannat said while standing in front of him and he looked up at her.

'Just got more work to do. You was waiting for me' Elam said while looking up at her and she quickly nodded her head in no and she don't know why.

'I was not feeling sleepy.' She said 'WITHOUT YOU.' Jannat said last bit in her head then quickly shook her head to get rid of thought. Whereas he just nodded his head.

'Shall I get food for you?' Jannat asked and he nodded his head in no.

'I am tried and just want to sleep.' Elam said then walk towards bathroom to change his clothes. He came out and she was laying on her side. He walk toward her then close his eyes and read whereas she unknowingly slowly closed her eyes to felt presence and smell while he blow on her and walk to his side and she opened her eyes. He put cushions between them and turned off the light.

'Good night Elam.' Jannat said and closed her eyes

'Good night Jannat.' Elam said and sleep took over them.

It was middle of night when she heard really loud phone's ringing sound. She worried woke up and turned on her side bed lamp. Then She looked around and Elam was peacefully sleeping while there was a phone on his bed side table which was screaming loudly. She don't want to woke him up so she moved little bit further towards him and try to reach her hand towards phone over his chest but it was too far away. She sighed then got up and moved. Jannat put her one knee on one side of his waist while she put her second knee on other side of his waist while carefully making she not put her weight on him while holding her weight all on her knee. Then she moved her hand towards the phone when he suddenly opened his eyes. She looked at him and he looked at her. Then, his eyes move toward his waist which was between her knee and Jannat turned red then embarrassed looked down. The stupid phone even now had stop ringing.

'I was just about to turn off the phone.' Jannat said while looking at him and he was silently looking at her.

'I swear.' She said innocently but he still didn't give any reply.

'Can you please get up from me now.' Elam said and she looked back on her knee then turned even more red then quickly got off from him.

'Sorry.' Jannat mutter and quickly turned off the light and lay back on her side while Elam didn't moved from his place while She closed her eyes and annoyed sighed on her stupidity.
