Visiting Luciano became my favorite past time. I feel happy and amazed everytime I'm at his home. It feels like I'm in a different world whenever I'm with him. And I feel like there is something special inside of me towards him though its hard to explain. I always long to see him. I'm always looking forward to be with him and I feel safe and more secure when he's beside me. Despite the fact that he's a demon himself.
"You said that you are a half human half demon creature right?" I asked him.
We are hanging out beside the lagoon that afternoon.
"Uh huh and I can feell your fear now."
He's right. I still have a little fear of him. Who wouldn't? I am literally hanging out with a half demon.
"No. I just want to know where is your mother."
"I don't know."
I feel the sudden change in his mood.
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"I just don't know. Period. You have to go home now. It's getting late."
He stood up and offer his hand to me right away.
"My parents are not home yet. They attended a meeting with Gigi's parents downtown."
"You don't want them to arrive home before you right?" He sounds annoyed.
"I can still stay here for another hour though." I insist. I feel like he do not want to talk about his mother.
"No, Agatha. You should go home now."
"No-"
"Come on."
"Wait-"
He pulled me straight to his back and run outside his home. Why he's avoiding the topic? Is there something bad happen to him or to his mom?
"Why are you avoiding the topic?" I asked.
"I'm not avoiding it. I just don't really know what happened to her."
"You don't-"
"Agatha please!"
I got scared when he let go of me. I ended up sitting on the ground.
"Ouch! Why did you do -" I was about to nag him for literally letting me fall from his back but when I look up to him. Luciano turned into something so terrifying that even a movie or any book cannot show or describe.
I can't believe what I am seeing when I saw his eyes turned red and a huge black pair of wings came out behind him. A big black wavy horn is also coming out from his forehead. I couldn't see his back but from where I am sitting He has a black pointed tail that can kill even the smallest of the insect for its very pointed end. I feel so terrified that I couldn't blink my eye.
"Luciano."
"Run as fast as you can." He's voice is as frightening as his looks right now. Anyone who can hear it will literally pass out because of fear.
"No, you are not going to hurt me. I-I know it." My tears starting to fall from my eyes.
"Run!" He shouted.
"But I-"
I can't really move. My whole body is trembling. I feel like my strength went down to negative level by just seeing him like this.
"Run now!"
His voice echoed in the forest. All the birds hiding on trees flew away and the wild animals are running everywhere to save their own lives. It looks like a big storm or a severe natural disaster will come. Did they feel him?
I run. But I don't know where I am heading. I don't know this part of the forest yet. I was about to turn to the left when Luciano grab me and push me hard to the ground. He is so strong and he looks so scary.
"I told you to run fast right? He said in a low warning voice.
"Luciano, please." I don't know what to say. He can kill me right here, right now and no one can see it.
My tears are now streaming in my cheeks. I never felt so scared like this before. This is more scarier than my encounter with Luke.
"I like the fact that you are so scared and thinking about your own death right now." His smile is literally a demon smile.
"Please. Luciano. Don't do this to me. Please."
He press his palm in my chest. The pain us excruciating. Unexplainable. I can't breathe. I can't shout for help. I'm gonna die. This pain is familiar to me and I know where I will end up.
"Lu-"
"Shut up!" He press my chest all the more.
I hold his hand to at least stop it from pressing my chest. I never thought that the man in my dreams, the man who saved me from Luke and the man who woke me up from my nightmares is the man who will cause my life to end.
"Luciano, please." I hope he heard that. I cannot speak anymore. He is so strong and I couldn't move now that he's on top of me, smelling death from my mouth, smiling.
I think of my parents, I saw my life from the very beginning. It was like a vivid memory flashing back right in front of me. It was like a reply of my life. I was a happy child before.
"Agatha!" His voice turned me back to reality.
I cough so hard when he release me. He help me sit up and tap my back to have some air.
"I didn't mean it. I wasn't able to control my self."
I exert all my strength left in me. I crawled far from him crying. He showed me my almost second death.
"Agatha." His voice is so different from what I have heard earlier.
I sit beside a tree, my whole body is trembling. I flinched when he tried to come near me.
"No! Don't come closer." I said.
But being Luciano, he come closer to me and hug me. His presence makes me tremble more.
"No, let go off me. Please!"
"Shh. That won't happen again, my love. Hush now."
I keep on pushing his body away from me but the more I do it the more he embrace me.
"Don't be scared. I'm here. I'm here sweet love."
"Leave me alone."
"You know I can't do that." He said.
"Leave me alone."
He didn't listen. He then carried me like how a prince carry his princess. Very odd from what had just happened earlier. I want to stop crying but my eyes just can't stop the tears fall from it.
A moment later, we reach home. My parents are not still here. Good thing. I run inside the moment my feet touch the ground. I lock all the door and went straight to my room.
"Agatha"
Not again. This is just a dream. I am seeing the demon again. He's gonna kill me!
"Agatha, wake up."
No. No! This is is just a dream.
"Sweetheart. Wake up."
"Luciano."
"Another nightmare, darling?"
"What are you doing here?"
