Gigi hopped in my car. She told me that she couldn't sleep last night because of excitement.
Gigi is my total opposite, she is perky and outgoing while I am an "indoor person" and kinda introvert. I wonder why we became best of friends. I think its true that opposite attracts.
We went to a grocery store to buy some stuff before heading to our campsite.
The weather is beautiful. The sun is hiding in a thick clouds and the wind is not that cold. I love this kind of weather.
After we set up the things we need. We went outside the cabin, we sat in the front porch and talk about our plans for the whole night while drinking coffee.
We decided to go for a walk inside the forest and look for some dry woods that we can use for our bonfire later. We are laughing so hard talking about the crazy things we did back in grade school. Its good to laugh freely without thinking that we may disturb someone. It seems dangerous for us, two girls to walk around but this place is safe and secured by the county executive.
Before the sun sets, we started to build the fire and sit around it. A moment later, we heard a loud weird sound. Its sounded like someone is in pain. Gigi looked at me with a scared face.
I smiled to let her know that it's fine.
"Don't worry, that is just a wild animal I think." I reassured her though my heart is beating so fast.
"'You sure?!, It doesn't sound like one."
"Let me check it out for you." I said to prove that it's just nothing.
I walk toward a tree where we heard the sound. I point my flashlight to every corner till I saw someone standing behind a big tree.
That face...
