Loving Lucifer Ep 18: Devil's Heaven

I was awaken by the sunlight coming from my window.

Why is it open already?!

After five minutes I finally get up. I saw black stains on my bed sheet again.

He came. I told him not to enter our house anymore.

I fix my bed and hide the stained sheet inside my closet. I will wash it tonight. Mom will start to doubt and ask me questions if I will let her wash my newly changed bedsheets again.

After our breakfast,we went to the hospital for my follow up check up. On our way home, we pass by the forest. I remember what Luciano told me last night.

Is he telling me the truth? Why did he suddenly told me about who he is?

"Dad? Can you pull over please?"

"Here? Why?" Dad ask curiously.

"Just drop me here. I will wait for a cab I want to go to Gigi's home."

"Honey, it's very rare for a cab to pass this way. Let me drive you to their home instead."

"No dad! Its off our way. I know you're tired of driving. You can go ahead to our house. I'll book a cab so you don't have to worry. I'll go home early." I opened my door right away when dad stop the car.

I started to book a cab in my phone.

"I already booked dad! I'll just wait for twenty minutes. Go ahead. Drive safely!"

My parents are hesistant to leave me alone in this freaking road. But after showing them the cab that I booked, they agreed to go home.

"Send us a message anytime if you need anything." Mom said.

"I will! I love you!" I said while waving at them.

Once our car is no longer visible in my eyes. I immediately cancelled my cab.

I walk to the entrance of the forest and went to the site. I have a feeling that I'm gonna see Luciano here.

"Hello, stubborn child."

"Luciano! I knew I could see you here." I said. I feel excited and happy to see him again. I feel comfortable. Not having even a single fear.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Nothing. We went to the hospital and passed by this forest. I thought you're here. So I drop by." I explained.

"And then?"

This man!

"Ahm- you were in my room last night, right? You left my window open and stained my bed sheet again. I told you not to invade anymore."

"I can't help it. I feel like you are so vulnerable when you are asleep. It seems that you're gonna die by just having a bad dream. I don't want it to happen so I stayed til dawn."

"But you got another wound. I told you I'm fine now. You have nothing to worry about."

"I don't care if my body will get full of wounds whenever I invade your room as long as your safe."

"Why are you doing this?"

"Nothing."

"No, I won't accept that. Tell me why are you doing this."

"Because you're like a glass."

"Stop saying nonsense Luciano."

"Come with me. I'll show you something." He then pulled my hand. He carried me to his back and he run to the deepest of the forest.

"What's this place?"

I didn't know that there is a place like this in this forest. It is so beautiful. It is so green and blue. There are lots of green plants which I don't know the names, a blue lagoon with its water so clear and sparkling, I saw some wild animals as well and the whole place is lit by fireflies. It's so magical.

"This is my home." He said.

"This is your home?" I repeat what he just said.

"Why? Do you think its too good for someone like me?" He then laugh.

"Yeah, it's so unbelievably beautiful for someone evil like you."

I heard his laugh echoed in the area.

I can't believe what my eyes are seeing. It's a beautiful forest that can only be found in fairytale books or rather its beautiful than those pictures.

"Can I go there?" I asked him. He nod.

I want to see the blue lagoon. Its water is sparkling even with the absence of the sunlight.

I touched the water its cold.

"Can I drink it?"

"It's not good for drinking." Before he said it, I already tasted the water.

Why did he said that its not for drinking when the water taste better than what we have in our home?

"But it taste better than ours." I said. He come closer to me. He is smiling.

"Do you like it here?" He said.

"No, I don't like it." I said hiding my smile.

He looked shock.

"I love it!" Then I laugh.

"I can probably live here as well. It's like I'm in a fairytale."

"With the beast." He added.

"A good beast though." I corrected him.

"Do you want to see my pets?"

"You have a pet?" This evil man can take care a pet? What kind of pet does have?

He lead me in front of a cave. I shivered. It's too dark. I can't see even a single thing.

He held my hand tightly.

"I'm here. Don't be scared."

"I can't see anything. It's too dark."

"I guess its just too dark for your eyes. I feel sorry for myself, I will not be able to show you my favorite part in my home.

"It's okay. When I come back, I'll bring flashlight." I don't know if can see me smiling.

We went back to the lagoon. I roam around to see the beauty of everything. I check each plants and I smelled each flower. I had a great time with Luciano in his home. I hope I can go back here soon.

We are laying down in make-shift bed made of leaves amd flowers when I saw my watch.

"It's already five in the afternoon?!" I get up as fast as I can. I was about to run when Luciano stopped me.

"Wait, where are you going?!" He look worried.

"I have to go home now. My parents will get worried. I promised to be back before dinner."

"Hang on, I'll bring you home." He said.

"No, just take me to the bus stop and I can manage from there. My parents might see you."

"No, they won't see me. I promise."

"Okay."

Luciano carried me in his back again. We took a different way. I feel a little scared but I trust him. I know he is more familiar in this place than me. And as I expected we reach our home within eight minutes. He took the secret path that he is using when he visits me at night.

"Bye! I hope I can visit your home again." I said.

"Anytime. Bye."

I was about to go when I remember something.

"You are welcome to enter in our house anytime as well." Then I run inside our house.

Mom is still preparing our dinner while dad is in his working room when I came. I hope they won't ask me why I came home a little late. I hope they didn't contact Gigi as well.

I made a mental note of the things I need to bring when I visit Luciano's house again.

After washing my bed sheet and taking a shower. I list down all the things I needed to bring in Luciano's home. I also called Gigi and ask her if my parents called her. I sighed when she said no. After a small talk with her, I lay down in my bed hoping that someday I can tell Gigi what is going on with me.
