MARK and I walked quietly towards his car in the parking lot. As we drove out of the office building, Mark broke the ice and said “There’s an Indian restaurant I’ve been wanting to try. Are you down for that?”
I haven’t really tried Indian food before, and I’m not even familiar with those dishes. I’m curious and don’t mind trying it so I said “Sure, that sounds great.”
Mark: “Have you tried Indian food before?”
Luisa: “Uhm, I haven’t.”
Mark: “You’ll love it.”
I didn’t know what to expect, and when we arrived at the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is very inviting, and the strong smell of spices is permeating the air. There’s quite a number of customers inside, which is an indication that the food here must be good.
