I tried to avoid Ms. Vera as much as I could because I didn’t want her asking me about why I was with Mike earlier. I wasn’t sure if I could lie to her and I’m definite that she’ll be mad when she finds out that Mike was with me in the grocery store and that he drove me to and from. After putting baby Cass down for a nap, I walked towards the dining area and found that they had finished eating lunch.
