WE stayed at the cafe longer than I anticipated because Jax and I got into talking. He asked me about my life in the province, and he was shocked when I found out I have been working as a servant in Mrs. Torreblanca’s mansion since I was 16. I also told him that her mom is a far cry from Vera. That is why I was convinced to move away from home to work for her daughter. I thought she would be as nice as her mom.
I then asked Jax about his family and where they are. He mentioned that his parents and siblings are all living abroad, so he was delegated to handle the business. He has some relatives in the country who are helping him handle the other businesses that they have. His parents were also engineers, and they helped each other build their business when they were younger.
