I felt anxious while waiting for the shift to end. I was fixing my stuff and getting ready to leave when Tristan arrived. He greeted me “Hey, miss beautiful.”
Luisa: “H-hi Tristan.”
Tristan: “So, are you ready to go?”
Luisa: “I’m getting ready to leave, yes.”
Tristan: “I’m thinking we could go to a buffet restaurant. Does that work for you?”
I stopped what I was doing and looked at Tristan. It sucks to reject people, but I will have to do it to Tristan sooner or later. For now, it’s best to do it as soon as possible.
