WHEN we got to the parking lot, Tristan immediately said “Luisa, why don’t you ride with me?”
I looked at Mark immediately and I figured he must have sensed that I didn’t really want to ride with Tristan in his car when he said “Listen, guys. Tristan and I are both bringing our cars. Why don’t you decide where you want to ride?”
Mark addressed the whole group but I have a feeling that he’s doing it for my benefit. Andrea immediately went to Mark’s side and said “I’m riding with Mark.”
Marie: “Me too.”
Renee: “Me three.”
Everyone looked at me next so I said “I’m riding with the girls. So I guess I’m with Mark too.”
Tristan was shaking his head as he said “I guess the two guys will be riding with me since there’s no space left in Mark’s car.”
I followed Mark along with the other girls
