I don’t even remember how I got home. I felt so numb the entire time. Once I got inside my apartment, I went straight to my bed and laid down. I already slept for a long time so I could sleep again. I was hungry though. I temporarily forgot about it because of what happened earlier.
I couldn’t help but chastise myself. How could I sleep with Jax again? It only somehow gave me false hope that things will be okay between us. Alas, I ended up hurting myself again.
