The next day, Mia woke up early, her mind still reeling from her conversation with Alexander. She knew she needed to focus on the task at hand, but she couldn't shake the feeling of doubt that had settled over her.

As she sat down at her desk to work, her phone rang. It was a number she didn't recognize, but when she answered, she heard a familiar voice on the other end.

"I'm sorry to bother you so early, Mia," it was Sebastian, the billionaire who had first approached her with the Temptation project. "But I wanted to make sure you were still on board with the project. We need your expertise now more than ever."

Mia hesitated for a moment before answering. She knew she had to keep up appearances if she was going to get close to the people behind the project.

"Of course, Sebastian," she said, trying to sound eager. "I'm still on board. I was just about to start working on some new ideas."

"Excelbastian said. "We're counting on you, Mia. The success of this project is crucial to our company's future."

Mia hung up the phone, feeling sick to her stomach. She knew she was playing a dangerous game, but she had to keep up the charade if she was going to get the information she needed.
