Nicolai's voice floats around the meeting circle.
I freeze in my spot. Marcos jumps in front of me. We both, along with everyone around us, reached for our weapons. Of course, coming up empty-handed.

Out of nowhere, rogues of all kinds appear around us: wolves, vamps, dragons, warlocks, fairies, dwarves, and elves. Surrounding us completely. There is a good fifty of them at least.
"Rules are out! Use whatever you have to protect yourselves!" Damian yells and then shifts into his wolf form.
