There was a book on her nightstand. Anthea was quite certain it had not been there before. She had not chosen it and Connaught was still abed with that wretched cold. Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet.It was hardly a favorite play of hers. Star-crossed lovers who died tragically, feuding families who had likely forgotten the origin of their dispute, and a sad ending. Anthea much preferred people and characters to use their wits. She picked up the book and realized there was a card in it, left to mark the place.
