Now that I felt secure that our Luna would leave the tracker on, I left the dinner and went to help Nonna and Julia to pack up their stuff. I had already spoken with Ryan about my change of plans, I was sending Julia and Nonna to go back home with his family, that way they could be home for bedtime. I mind-linked Aggie, telling her she had time for another round of pole climbing with Tree. I didn’t want to make the long drive alone. For now, I needed a couple of hours to find Nadeen to say goodbye properly, and find out what Alpha T was hiding with this ‘surprise’. I don’t like surprises.
